Sometimes you end up at Borgmann's completely unplanned and go home with a larger purchase, as happened at the end of last year. Today's trip was supposed to be a more manageable one, because my daughter needed a swimsuit for her swimming lessons and my wife just wanted to "have a look" since my jogging pants were so comfortable – the ones I'd bought during that big shopping trip. Well, to make a long story short... the bags I brought with me definitely wouldn't have been enough for the number of swimsuits, swim bags, jogging pants, and sweatshirts for both adults AND children that ended up being purchased. 🙈 I don't want to claim that the extent of the shopping frenzy was due to the lovely, very friendly, and helpful saleswoman (like two years ago with the #sweatshirt 😉), but there's definitely some truth to it... #discount, #cookietin, and #footballflavor. For the casual reader, this means that at Borgmann's, you receive excellent, competent, and very friendly service, so in our opinion, it's worth visiting more often. We'll definitely do it again, because I, at least, have decided to start jogging again soon and treat myself to some new running shoes. So, dear "persuasive" saleswoman, I'll be back in the store in two years, just as you wished. Hopefully, I won't need two bags from you again then. 😳 Thanks again to the friendly colleague for packing my things. 🙏 It was a really great shopping experience. 🥳

I wanted mittens that would be warm enough for winter in northern Norway. The selection wasn't exactly extensive. The saleswoman recommended a pair that actually had fingers on the inside, saying they were fantastic and that she used them herself. I wasn't convinced, but I was short on time. So I paid the €80. And what can I say? At -30°C, the mittens failed me; my fingers got cold. Borgmann refused to accept the return. They said hands should be warm when you put them in mittens; mittens aren't meant to warm cold fingers... uhhh... ??? Well, my fingers were warm to begin with, I pointed out. At which point, I was pressured from two sides to accept that you can't resell used mittens. They also refused a price reduction. Conclusion: With such false promises, I'll forgo "advice" in the future and just buy directly from Amazon or eBay, where at least they take legitimate complaints seriously.
