Large, bright store. The product range is well-organized and presented. They have everything you need for fishing and hunting, and a wide selection. Outdoor clothing and small furniture items round out the selection. 👍🏻 Very friendly and helpful staff. Customer restrooms are available. Outside in the parking lot, there's a 24-hour bait vending machine with maggots, worms, etc.! There are plenty of parking spaces.

The website states a delivery time of 1-3 days. Five days have now passed and the goods haven't even been shipped. I chose Askari because of their stated delivery time. Even after inquiring, they haven't provided any specific information about the delivery date, only that it's being processed… This is a case for consumer protection… Unbelievable…

Basically, it's not a bad shop. Luckily, I've always received everything correctly. It just takes forever. Unfortunately, if you receive defective goods, you're completely screwed. Even if you can prove the defect with pictures and videos, there's no quick and easy solution! So, I have to return my rod with the broken ring via a return address in Switzerland just before my Norway trip. That takes 4-6 weeks. Askari is just extremely slow and unmotivated. Furthermore, the prices are sometimes incorrect. For example, a product might be on sale in the German shop, but you pay full price in the Swiss shop. See pictures. I will never order from them again!!! They don't even differentiate if you've ordered over €1000. It seems to be a rigid hierarchy where individual employees have zero decision-making authority. They proceed according to a rigid protocol in EVERY case. That's how civil servants work! You still don't get a response to email inquiries after a week. On the phone, you wait 30 minutes until one of the unmotivated wage earners answers. I know some shops that are extremely busy, but the service is still good. Askari, however, is slow and unfriendly on a rainy winter day....

Ordered 4 fishing rods, received 2, one of which was incorrect. The delivery note is also wrong. This is going to be a nightmare to sort out. Never again, that was definitely the last time.

Ordered four Advent calendars in mid-November. Unfortunately, only one arrived on time on November 25th. After immediately inquiring by phone, we were politely informed that it would be sent as soon as possible. The note that delivery from Germany could take a few days was understandable at the time. On December 8th, a credit note arrived by email without comment and without any further indication of non-delivery, etc. Since we had been desperately wanting the calendars, we reported that we would like them. Askari provided no further information that this meant a new order would have been placed with another loooong delivery time. The missing calendars arrived on December 20th (4 doors before the end of Advent) without any apology or discount. At least a discount would have been more than appropriate. We are very disappointed. Very poor complaints management. Better information would have been very helpful.

I've shopped at Askari several times; if you can get ahold of an employee, you'll receive competent advice. The catalog gives a good idea of what's on offer, but the prices are reasonable! I'm deducting one star because the "offers" in the catalog have been identical for several years, making them bogus. In conclusion, I'm very satisfied and will be back to shop!

Horrible service. On September 20, I placed an order worth €247. As of now, October 15, I haven't received anything. I have no tracking information. I don't know if my package was sent, where it is, or who the courier is. 13 emails and five phone calls later, and I still know nothing. On October 5, I received the message, "Please be patient. The delivery should be shortly." After two weeks, no one even thought to ask where the package was. That was a response in German, by the way, while, as an international customer, I asked the question in English on the English-language international website. Except for the response on October 5, the response to my email reports is always the same: "Due to a large number of inquiries, the processing time may currently be approximately 5 days." And five days later? You guessed it: nothing! On October 8th, I contacted DHL, who was supposedly the courier, as I was assured on the phone. It turns out the inquiry wasn't made until the following week, and now DHL is taking time. No apology, and after almost four weeks, still no reasonable response, no package, and no refund. Askari: Never again! Update 10/21. Today I received confirmation from DHL that my package has been delivered. It's registered with DHL for September 23rd, and it was delivered to DHL on October 20th! DHL did nothing wrong. Askari made up a nonsense story, and the day before Trusted Shops was supposed to pay compensation, the package was delivered to DHL. A day later, they delivered it to the Netherlands. So, it's a story of non-response and lies after all.

I ordered online during the "Free Shipping" promotion. Yes, I overlooked the field for the promotional code, as I assumed it had to be entered when selecting the shipping options. However, the order is placed IMMEDIATELY after clicking, without a summary for final review, otherwise I would have noticed the error. I immediately sent an email requesting that the shipping costs be canceled, citing the ongoing promotion. Even after three follow-up inquiries, this is not possible. Apparently, the goods are already in transit. What does this have to do with anything? And what's so difficult about canceling shipping costs? Update: I paid the invoice without the shipping costs, which were then credited. Thank you for that.

We've been shopping here online for years, and we (or rather, I) am very satisfied. Not everything is always immediately available, but at least the order is still processed by the back office. I appreciate that! :) Customer service isn't always reachable within 5 minutes, but they are very friendly, and any problems are always resolved after a phone call. No need to chase after them. Shipping with Hermes works quite well, a maximum of 2 business days. All in all, very satisfied. There are always discounts or promotions. If something doesn't go perfectly, they offer a small voucher as compensation… I can absolutely recommend them, and friends and family (almost) exclusively order from here now. Top-notch! :)
