I wanted my daughter's bike serviced, including checking and adjusting the gears and brakes. I specifically called the shop in advance and asked about the price and scope of the service. They said €30 for the service, plus spare parts. That was completely reasonable for me. I packed my bike in the trunk and drove to the shop. Then, when I got there, I was completely disappointed. The price for the service was suddenly quoted as €100, plus materials and possibly additional labor. What a brazen scam! Never again, thank you!

I arrived at the shop without an appointment, riding my son's bicycle, and Mr. Beckers immediately and very kindly took my request. He had a hunch about what the problem might be – and it turned out to be correct. The final cost was even lower than initially estimated. Thank you so much, Mr. Beckers!

My bike had several defects, which Mr. Beckers quickly fixed, even repairing things I hadn't noticed myself. He advised me against my trailer, as it's apparently not safe to assemble and therefore not suitable for my bike. I'm very grateful for his expertise, which is extremely useful in traffic and could even save lives. Of course, one could argue about Mr. Beckers' communication style, but the man is qualified, gets straight to the point, and is admittedly a bit dry in his manner. You either like it or you don't! However, my bike won't be going anywhere else! 👌🏽 P.S.: I'm also very happy with the price. ☺️

Unfriendly and rude! I only went to adjust the gears and check that everything was still okay. He snapped at me for not taking my pannier off. When I told him I wasn't going to take it with me, he showed me his cluttered shop where my (empty, unmounted) panniers wouldn't fit. Dogs aren't welcome either, by the way. And apparently, my Dutch bike (a Gazelle) isn't "normal." He told me to come back in the fall if I wanted a check-up – he's too busy in the spring. I had even called ahead! I left and I'm definitely never coming back! Customer service in Germany is a joke!

Mr. Beckers offers expert advice and repairs. He also supplies spare parts for older bicycles and retrofits Pendix e-drives. I have always been very satisfied with his service.

I bought a restored classic car from Beckers today. Excellent advice and service. They also gave me comprehensive tips on hiking trails and bicycle accessories. They fitted panniers and a phone mount free of charge. A true craftsman of the old school. 🚲🚲🚲
