Truly the first and best place for sporting goods in town. I bought a table tennis racket here as a hobby player and I'm absolutely thrilled! The owner is very knowledgeable and manages three customers at once in a friendly and courteous manner. The price-performance ratio is also excellent – ​​what more could you want? 😃

Yesterday, I visited Heister in Mönchengladbach for the first time and put together a new table tennis racket. Mr. Heister gave me excellent advice and was incredibly friendly. The new racket was assembled immediately. During this time, two other customers and the postman were in the store. I had a brief and pleasant chat with all three. In the end, I was offered a very fair price, including a new bag for the racket. It was a very pleasant shopping experience. I will gladly shop there again for sporting goods in the future.

I've been a long-time customer and always satisfied. From the advice and years of experience to the sale, everything was top-notch, and the price-performance ratio was excellent. I highly recommend Sport Heister. I absolutely don't understand all the negative reviews. The first port of call for sports in Mönchengladbach and the surrounding area.

Absolutely rude and not recommended!! BEEN a loyal customer for years! They don't care about goodwill. They don't listen to you, nor do they even look at the item you're complaining about. A reasonable discussion or compromise is out of the question, as the person is aggressive and won't listen. Not recommended! I would give them zero stars if I could.

Terrible customer service. Zero customer friendliness! I used to love shopping there years ago because the quality was always good. But today, as soon as I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The store sells sportswear, athletic shoes, and tennis and table tennis equipment. When I entered, the man told me, "I think you're in the wrong place. This is a tennis/table tennis equipment store." He said this while looking me up and down, without me saying anything beforehand. I replied that I was looking for sportswear. I found a pair of athletic pants I liked. Then the man, who I believe is the owner, kept telling me where the cash register was and saying things like, "That'll be €€€€," while I continued browsing. He constantly made me feel like he didn't want me in the store at all. I told him I was happy to keep looking, after I'd tried on a few T-shirts. The man said to me, "Didn't you try on a white T-shirt?" I said, "No... I didn't try on a white T-shirt." He then gave me a questioning look. I had no problem showing him my bags and lifting my shirt to convincingly demonstrate that I hadn't stolen anything. So, to sum it all up: zero customer service; that's no way to win new customers. And his demeanor was anything but welcoming. With that kind of attitude, it's no wonder they're losing customers and ultimately blaming the evil internet for having to close the store due to a lack of business. But I also have to say that what I bought there years ago was always good quality and lasted a long time. I wouldn't have had a problem spending several hundred euros there. But they didn't want my money. This store is always empty anyway. It's a shame because I actually like to support local businesses. I would have liked to buy more. I can promise you, if you go there, you'll be the only customer. The store is usually empty. Maybe it's the location because it's in a village, or maybe it's the owner. I think it's because the store is in a village. One should therefore focus heavily on customer service in order to win back returning customers.

Small but excellent, and the owner is very competent and friendly. The sports shop regularly offers good deals.
