I bought a Victoria e-bike from Mr. Oelen six years ago and have been a satisfied customer ever since. Now, in 2025, I've been waiting 10 weeks! for an inspection appointment. When I arrived at the workshop with my bike for the scheduled appointment, he had a note on the workshop door saying he was still on vacation. No apology, no phone call, nothing. Who needs that???

This man isn't even worth one star. I'm a neighbor, a mother with a toddler, and I rely on my bicycle. But the rude tone on the phone from this man, who apparently no longer needs to take on any orders, is the absolute worst. He runs a business and tells me about retirement. He simply hangs up the phone mid-conversation. No wonder the shop has never been burglarized...

I wanted to have my bike repaired. I was rudely rejected because I hadn't purchased the bike there. Very unfriendly to customers, I wouldn't recommend it.

In my opinion, bicycles that weren't purchased locally aren't readily inspected. I wanted the tire pressure checked, but was told by hand signals that I should pump it myself. When I asked if the handlebars were raised a bit, they showed me the screws I was supposed to turn. In other words, do it yourself. When I asked if my lights (front and rear) were battery-powered or dynamo-powered, they told me I had a so-called hub dynamo, and then asked me if I didn't know my own bike. (I've only ridden it once.) It was then discovered that my rear light wasn't working; there was no attempt to check or repair it. I later discovered that a connector on the front light had come loose. It took 20 seconds. I would have paid for the entire process, of course, but who doesn't want to? A new bike stand for my little one (10 years old) wasn't in stock either. So I went there for nothing. At the time, I wanted to buy a bike for my little one locally. The selection was poor. I'll be going back to my trusted dealer soon.

If you don't want to, that's your problem. He refused to accept my bike for inspection because I didn't buy it from him. And he was extremely unfriendly. Never again.

Excellent service, always friendly. Mr. Oelen went to great lengths to resolve the issues with my bicycle repair. Thank you very much for that.

It's great that the bicycle industry is booming. Mr. Oelen, however, obviously doesn't need to work anymore. I wanted to bring him my bicycle—admittedly, I didn't buy it from him—for repair; I had a flat tire on the rear wheel. Mr. Oelen explained that he couldn't do it because he would have to "read" the data, but he only had Bosch equipment, and I had a Panasonic motor. (I actually have an Impulse motor, but that's only relevant in the overall context.) I think Mr. Oelen should just say so if he doesn't want to repair bikes that weren't purchased from him. So I drove 10 km to Zweirad Stadler (formerly Zilles). Even though the bike wasn't purchased there either, they fixed my problem immediately! The installation cost €15. Unfortunately, I bought an e-bike for my wife from Oelen last year. But even if it snows heavily, I won't set foot in that shop again.

While looking for a mountain bike, I cycled past this shop. Since I don't have a car, I had to bring my bike. First of all, there was nowhere to lock my bike. I had to lock it to a traffic sign further away. When I entered the shop and asked the woman about it, she casually remarked that it wasn't good for the bike anyway. I didn't pursue it further and then inquired about a mountain bike. She then called her husband. After he arrived some time later and listened to my request, he told me he couldn't help me. Thanks, that's all.
