For now, and I hope it stays that way, I can only report positive things. I needed two new tires for my mountain bike. Since I don't prefer large dealers—my experience there was unfortunately not positive—I contacted Mr. Leitner. He told me that the repair could be done immediately with a few days' patience. I took the bike there, received a friendly welcome, and after a few days, the bike was ready, and that was during peak season. I hope I've found a good, friendly service partner. You earn money from the sale of a bike once, and from the subsequent service for years. Thank you very much.

A bike shop as it should be. I was welcomed as a customer, even though I had purchased my bike elsewhere, and despite the shop being very busy, I was able to bring my Cube bike in for its first service. The longer wait didn't bother me at all, as I didn't have an appointment, and I'm grateful to have been accepted as a customer. I received very friendly service, and the initial contact via email went smoothly. I'll be back. Thank you, Mr. Leitner.

With so much praise, one can also leave a somewhat negative review – because it's truthful. Imagine the following scenario: You're passing through and, due to carelessness, you accidentally drained the hydraulic fluid from the disc brakes of your brand-name bicycle. You enter the open shop at 1:25 PM, and the first response you receive is: "We're on lunch break." Okay – then just lock your shop during breaks so no one disturbs your recovery. Then you ask if you could top up the fluid. No – impossible – it can't be done in between – the workshop is full, and the mechanic is on break until 2:30 PM. When he returns from his break, you'd have to ask him. If he says yes, the repair would certainly take until the evening. Fine. When I asked if I could buy a refill kit in the shop, the answer was: "We have them, but we don't have them; we'd have to order them – they're specific to each vehicle." The fact that I had Shimano brakes was ignored. As I later learned, the bored man who served me, clearly disturbed during his break, was the owner of the shop. Anyone who, in the year 2025, doesn't even have brake fluid for one of the most common brake systems behind the counter should take a look at their inventory. So, if your brakes fail, just call the ADAC (German Automobile Club); they'll be much more helpful than that bike shop under the parking garage roof.

It happens that we can't always help on the spot.<br>I understand that this—as in this case—meets little understanding, but it doesn't change the fact. The portrayal of the situation is, of course, very subjective.<br>My offer to see if we can try to get the bike in the afternoon after the mechanic returned from his lunch break wasn't quick enough for the customer.<br>We're happy to help, and in emergencies, we'll help immediately, but there are exceptions.<br>I think that's acceptable.<br>Jörg Leitner

I was looking for two bar-end mirrors for our two e-bikes. H. Leitner gave me excellent advice in the shop, the installation was very easy, the round mirrors with convex glass provide a very good field of vision, aren't too big, and are also foldable for transport/storage. What more could a customer want?! Fantastic!!!

I just took my son's bike to Leitner. The brakes on one side weren't working properly. They helped me immediately and adjusted the brakes. Excellent service. We've been customers for years and highly recommend them.

Always happy to help. This was my second time there for a repair. Longer repair times don't bother us, and we plan ahead. Excellent value for money, friendly, and accurate. I thought it was unique how Mr. Leitner helped the children with the broken brakes to make it home. He was a first-class human being.
