I visited B.O.C. in Mülheim on Weseler Straße with a rather unusual request and received truly excellent service. I'd especially like to highlight the workshop: very professional, friendly, and solution-oriented – you can tell that the people working there know their craft and take their time. I really appreciate this combination of expertise and a personal touch. A clear recommendation: If you're looking to buy a bicycle or simply need good, honest advice, this is definitely the place to go.

Experience at B.O.C. Mülheim – Retrospective Assessment of the Situation We originally wanted to buy a children's bicycle (Puky LS Pro 14) and went to the B.O.C. branch in Mülheim for this purpose. At the time of our visit, the experience was initially somewhat mixed. Despite the relatively low number of customers, no one proactively approached us, and the communication seemed rather brief overall. In our opinion, some points during the consultation – for example, regarding training wheels or inspections – could have been explained in more detail. Later, it also turned out that the handlebars hadn't been properly tightened after being adjusted, which is, of course, a safety issue with a children's bicycle. However, I have since learned that two high-end bicycles were apparently stolen shortly before our visit. If this was indeed the case, I can certainly understand that the situation must have been stressful or unusual for the staff on site. In such a moment, clarifying the incident is presumably the top priority. Against this backdrop, I'd like to qualify my initial assessment somewhat, as such situations can, of course, influence the store's operations. After we later realized that the bicycle we purchased, with its coaster brake, wasn't ideal for our daughter, we also contacted the B.O.C. branch in Essen. There, our issue was handled very kindly and with a focus on finding a solution. The return was processed smoothly, and we received the bicycle we originally wanted. In addition, several things were resolved amicably, and we also received a children's voucher, which is part of the B.O.C. service concept. Perhaps our visit to the Mülheim store was simply at an inopportune time. Generally speaking, I think that with a bit more calm and communication on-site, things would have turned out very differently. My main feedback would therefore be: In such exceptional situations, it would be helpful to briefly inform customers that an incident has just occurred. Then we would probably have been able to better understand the situation from the outset.

I had a problem with my gears, so I called and was told I could come in on short notice. I did just that, drove there without an appointment, and was greeted very warmly when I dropped off my bike. After a minimal wait, a workshop employee approached me and explained how I could fix the problem myself in the future. All in all, very professional and competent service and workmanship. I'll gladly come back!

I'm extremely happy with the service and my new gravel bike. Caro was very helpful and gave me excellent advice. After two days, I unfortunately got a flat tire after running over a piece of glass, and even then, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, replacing it free of charge as a gesture of goodwill. Thank you so much! I'll definitely be back and can only give 5 stars! 🙏🏼

Yesterday I picked out a new mountain bike there. BOC really has a huge selection, so you're sure to find something you like. You can also test ride all the bikes. I'd especially like to commend the extremely friendly and helpful advice I received from Ms. Schwarz. She perfectly understood my requirements for the bike, and we were able to find the right mountain bike for me. The price and performance are definitely in line!

Really great service here. I called ahead about my Merida eOne-Sixty 675 and received excellent advice over the phone. Even though it's not their bike, they suggested I just drop by. The people there were super relaxed. They looked at my bike for free, cleaned the chain, adjusted the shock and handlebars, and even took it for a short test ride. Since I don't know much about bike mechanics myself, it was really helpful that everything was explained to me in detail. I thought it was extremely kind of them to say that a Google review would be enough of a thank you. I'll definitely be back for a proper service. Thanks!

I can highly recommend this branch. My husband and I visited several bike shops, but this one was by far the most satisfied. The advice on bikes and accessories was excellent. They always had great ideas tailored to our needs. A big thank you to Daniel and his colleague. Everything was very straightforward and quick, including the leasing process. A truly outstanding bike shop! I received very competent and friendly advice over the phone – with detailed information on suitable models for my son, including tips on what was suitable and what to look for. The employees asked detailed questions and really took their time. This positive impression was absolutely confirmed in the store itself: clean, tidy, well-organized, and a very friendly team. We were approached directly, but were also able to browse at our leisure. Later, we received very competent advice, where both high-quality brands and a fair-trade private label were presented – very honest and customer-focused. I especially liked that my son was included: They spoke to him at eye level, asked for his impressions, and adjusted everything to make him feel comfortable. Conclusion: A fantastic store with great advice, friendly service, and fair recommendations. We will definitely buy our next children's bike here again!

I visited the bike shop for the first time today. The selection of bicycles is enormous. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The advice on insurance and security options was excellent. The guys in the workshop were courteous and helpful. If you're looking for a bicycle, you should definitely stop by here. I was more than satisfied and can highly recommend this shop and its excellent staff.
