We took both of our e-bikes in for servicing. My wife's chain sometimes vibrates and then rubs briefly. I thought it was the sprockets and wanted to have new ones installed. I was advised against it, as it wouldn't help. That saved us from a small, wasted investment. A slight bend in the chain guard and the problem is significantly reduced. We were very satisfied. The gear shifting is working perfectly again.

In an emergency, I received immediate help, unlike at other bike shops where I was turned away and told they had no appointments available. It was a minor issue and took no more than 5 minutes of work. Thank you so much for the quick and uncomplicated help! Afterwards, I brought in an old bike and had some components replaced. I can only say – excellent and reliable work at a fair price. I will definitely be back!

A few weeks ago, I dropped my bike off there because of a persistent creaking noise. A few days later, I picked it up and paid for a bottom bracket replacement. However, the problem persisted. I was told it could also be the frame, which they said was beyond repair. In the meantime, I took matters into my own hands and replaced the bottom bracket myself. The old one was definitely not new, and the problem is now—who would have thought it—solved. If you enjoy being ripped off at the most basic level, this is the place for you. I, for one, will have any repairs I don't do myself done by a reputable workshop in the future! Just as an aside, I'll be keeping the old bottom bracket safe... I was amused to see the response to my review from five months ago (!). Apparently, they're suddenly interested in customer feedback now that they can no longer generate any rental income from the premises. First, I didn't receive any documentation that even remotely meets the basic requirements of an invoice, which I suppose is standard practice. Second, I'm perfectly capable of distinguishing a brand-new component from one that's been in use for many years. Strangely enough, the damage pattern remained completely unchanged after the supposed replacement of the bottom bracket. It's also worth mentioning that I was charged several times more for the supposedly installed new bottom bracket than I paid for the one I purchased myself (a brand-name part). On that note, I should add that when I went to pick up my bicycle, I had to wait about half an hour with several other customers because they preferred to take a long walk with their dog during opening hours, including a lengthy conversation with acquaintances on a country lane outside of town. Well, anyone who still stumbles across that place is beyond help!

Dear Customer, thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you were not satisfied. The bottom bracket was definitely new, as we, as a certified workshop, do not install used parts unless our customer explicitly requests it. In such cases, we always note this on the invoice. Please feel free to visit us so we can clarify the situation amicably. Please bring your invoice and the bottom bracket with you. Sincerely, Rad & Roller

---------

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your review. I had a problem with the switch. It was repaired immediately (waiting time - 30 minutes) and well done. For comparison - at Weiden Fahrradhaus on Aachener Straße, I would have to wait two weeks just for an appointment, and I don't know how long it would take for the repair itself.

For those who didn't know, the workshop is in the back! A real mechanic works there, and he'll even help out without charging! A small problem, and he'll fix it! The man barely knows me, but I immediately liked him. Unfortunately, I can't give any information about sales. The shop at the front has changed. Just turn left into the back courtyard, and you're in cyclists' paradise. Better than any superstore!

Hi Sebi, thank you so much for the great description and your lovely feedback. Always a pleasure. Best regards from the Rad & Roller team.

Went today as I had an issue with my seat post. Gentleman was so nice sorted it within minutes and didn’t want any payment although he supplied the necessary parts. Amazing service. Definitely will go back with future issues with my bike.

I wanted to have my tubeless tires mounted here. An employee said they'd never installed tubeless tires before, that it wouldn't make sense, and that tubes would be better. Hello? Welcome to 2021...
Owner's response
Dear Mr. Besik, thank you for your constructive criticism. This could simply be a misunderstanding. We would be pleased if you could visit us again so we can clarify the matter, as our customers are very important to us. Sincerely, Rad & Roller

Fast and uncomplicated help! So fast and uncomplicated, in fact, that the guys didn't even ask for any money. The front wheel of my Bulls MTB had too much play, and unfortunately, I couldn't fix it myself. Not only did they fix the problem, but they also explained the underlying issue and what I could do if it happened again. So, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them again with a positive review!

I briefly entered the shop. The owner was smoking, recommended an e-bike to my father without greeting him, and neither she nor the employee held the door open for me to bring in the bikes. The owner asked everyone, confused, whose turn it was or who would be taking longer. The employee also immediately addressed me informally without a greeting and pointed out that parts would certainly be needed during an inspection and that the price wasn't fixed. I'm happy to bring my bikes to Stommeln.
Owner's response
Dear Customer, we are sorry that you were not satisfied. However, we also assume that your criticism stems from a misunderstanding, as the shop premises at the front were rented to the company RollingBull - E-Mobility, which ceased operations on September 30, 2021. Our entrance to the master workshop behind it was already located to the left of the shop area you mentioned at that time. Should your comments nevertheless refer to us, we cordially invite you to a personal meeting, as customer satisfaction is very important to us. Sincerely, Rad & Roller

I took my bike in for a rear brake repair. For the price I paid for a small part plus installation, I could have bought a whole new brake system, front and rear, but this wasn't mentioned to me. After paying €200 for a part that cost €60, I noticed later that evening that the brake was losing significant power and there was oil on the disc. When I returned the bike the next day to complain, the shop owner denied any responsibility and suggested I just buy a new brake system. So I was able to take my bike back without having accomplished anything. I've now had a new brake installed on my downhill bike by another shop, and it brakes better than my old brake with new pads, for half the price. All I can say is: exorbitant prices and unfriendly service. Definitely not recommended for major repairs!!!
Owner's response
Dear Customer, even though your complaint may have occurred some time ago, we cordially invite you to a personal conversation to clarify the matter professionally and amicably, as we believe it can only be a misunderstanding. Furthermore, our customers and their satisfaction are very important to us. Sincerely, Rad & Roller
