Friendly service and excellent advice. I can highly recommend Laufgut Schmitz for foot, back, or other orthopedic problems. I especially recommend their gait analysis. This identifies posture and walking issues, which are then treated. They also show you exercises you can use to work on improvements yourself.

I felt I received the most comprehensive advice possible. Just the shoe fitting alone was incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about sizing. They took their time and were very patient. I received a fantastic gait analysis with completely new insights! It's truly fascinating what I learned about my feet and my gait! No doctor has ever seen it like this before, despite my discomfort! The recommended exercises and much more will put me on a completely new path! And now I'll feel completely new in asymmetrical running shoes! I'm incredibly happy about it and can highly recommend them!

I can finally go jogging again. After the coronavirus pandemic, I started having problems with my knees, probably due to the break. The doctor diagnosed a torn medial meniscus, and one side had to be operated on. I had actually given up on running. At some point, I wanted to start again, but despite insoles and two years of building muscle in the gym, I always ended up limping for two days after running 5 km. Upon inquiry, I was recommended the gait training course at Laufgut Schmitz. After an analysis, I initially had loosening massages, which were very pleasant. There were also a few exercises that were easy to integrate into everyday life. Afterwards, my feet were repeatedly taped over a period of several weeks. This corrected the misalignment of my feet. A few weeks after the treatment, I can say that I can go jogging again without pain. Many thanks to everyone on the very friendly team at the store.

I always have my orthotics made at Laufgut Schmitz and have received excellent advice every time. Using state-of-the-art technology, they measure my entire foot to determine the perfect orthotics for my needs. Melli, the lovely lady, gave me fantastic advice and even pointed out areas that my orthopedist hadn't mentioned. She also kindly showed me some preventative exercises. Hey!!! I went to Laufgut for the second time today. Today I received advice from Alex. I told him I'm a beginner runner, and he took great care of me. They did a running analysis and determined the right shoe for my foot and weight. I actually wanted a light-colored running shoe, but unfortunately, they didn't have that model. I could have ordered the shoe online, but I think such great advice as Alex's simply deserves recognition, so I preferred to leave my money there. It's nice that there are still stores like this where you feel at home and receive first-class advice. I can only recommend it…
