After a previous disappointing experience – back when they were still located on Innenwall – I gave Räderecke a second chance. At the beginning of October, we bought a children's bike there for a rather high price. It would have been significantly cheaper online, but we deliberately wanted to support local businesses. In return, however, I expected good service. Shortly after the purchase, it turned out that a design flaw meant the rear fender wasn't sturdy enough. On slightly uneven terrain, it started to wobble, causing the light cable to break. The problem was fixed quickly, but only temporarily – which was acceptable to me. What was completely unacceptable, however, was that almost four weeks after the purchase, I was expected to pay for both parts and labor. I paid under protest and requested an explanation, as it was clearly a warranty case, and therefore the manufacturer or seller was responsible. The employee in charge reacted irritably and simply said, "...hmmm, this whole thing is bad." He noted my email address and promised to get back to me within a week. To this day – over three weeks later – I haven't heard anything. To be fair, the service advisor was really great – genuine, helpful, and quick. However, that doesn't change the fact that the way this incident was handled was completely unacceptable. After-sales experience: Poor Simply disappointing.

Subject: Feedback on E-Bike Inspection Dear Sir/Madam, I recently brought my e-bike to you for an inspection for €119. Unfortunately, I must inform you that I am not satisfied with the work performed. Upon collection, I had the impression that my bike was returned essentially as I had dropped it off. For example, the derailleur was either not adjusted or only inadequately adjusted. The basic cleaning also appeared to be limited to a superficial wipe with a dry cloth, which caused scratches. I do not wish to speak negatively about your business, however, I feel that the price of €119 is not justified for the service provided.

Quite simply – if money is no object for you and you're comfortable with being treated rudely, good business. :) Don't honor credit cards – 21st century. :) Oh yeah, €5 for saddle fitting on a €200 bill that wasn't mentioned beforehand, just embarrassing. Never again.

I visited this "specialty shop" four times and left dissatisfied each time. I tried to buy a bike for my wife, but the purchase fell through because the saleswoman was unenthusiastic and unprofessional. We're still waiting for a callback because a specific bike was supposed to be arriving and we were interested in it. Helmets with MIPS are advertised at a discount, but they're not actually in stock. There's only one in the warehouse, and even then, the saleswoman didn't seem very keen to sell it. I called several times to schedule an appointment for a bike inspection that wasn't purchased there. Each time, we were told they weren't currently accepting bikes from other retailers. Then we were told to bring it in. When we arrived, they again said they weren't accepting bikes from other retailers. After some discussion, they finally accepted it. That's not how you attract customers. Then I wanted to buy a bike basket. After the salesman made a comment that was best left unsaid, he approached me and showed me the basket that would be compatible with my mounting system. Luckily, I had the mounting plate with me. I held it up and discovered that... It doesn't fit at all. The sales assistant said you could just drill new holes. I don't think drilling new holes next to the reinforcements on the floor makes much sense. The sales assistant then went back to his cash register, which was empty. That doesn't surprise me, given the terrible customer service. I will never set foot in that store again, and I certainly cannot recommend it.

I have a Velo de Ville e-bike with an Enviolo Automatiq drivetrain. This drivetrain has had problems pretty much from the beginning, so I've had to visit the dealer quite often. They looked into it thoroughly to try and help me. After almost two years, the bike shop and the workshop manager contacted Enviolo to try and resolve the issue. With varying degrees of success, I received a new hub, and my bike ran perfectly after the Enviolo hub was replaced, until the end of June 2025. Then the Enviolo Automatiq problems started all over again. The dealer is doing everything in his power; let's see what happens this time. I've lost all faith in this e-bike drivetrain. The service from this dealer deserves 5 stars.

My husband and I bought our two bicycles there through a company bike leasing program, as well as a bike trailer for our little one. We received excellent advice, and all the staff and the owner were incredibly friendly and helpful. They always helped us immediately. We're always happy to come back.
