Excellent advice and top-notch equipment, not just for ambitious skiers. The advice and selection of ski boots, including proper fitting, is particularly outstanding. I always enjoy visiting this specialist shop. I also no longer entrust the annual ski maintenance to anyone else.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Alpenstille shop in Rösrath. The team is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The advice wasn't about "selling at any cost," but rather honest, calm, and highly professional. What stood out most was the professional boot fitting with modern analysis (laser alignment, foot pressure measurement/scan). Every step was clearly explained, the work was meticulous, and they took their time until everything fit perfectly. The result: noticeably better support, greater comfort, and a much more secure feeling in the shoe. That's exactly how it should be.

I had ski boots fitted to my feet today. Absolutely perfect 🤩 Franz is simply fantastic. He takes a huge amount of time to try them on. I'd give him more stars if I could.

Two years ago I got new ski boots in the Alpine stillness. The advice was really very good and they took a lot of time for me. Unfortunately, despite the boot fitting and extra insole, I had to come back for repairs after the first ski tour. But the problems still exist. Even after 20 days of skiing, I still hate wearing the boots because they still hurt. Given the high purchase price, it was somehow disappointing for me.

Great and detailed advice! The scheduled two hours for the boot fitting are also necessary – it seemed like a lot at first, but it's definitely worth it. The selection is huge, with a boot for every foot. The boots can also be customized on-site with custom insoles and other options. Now the next ski vacation can begin! 🙂‍↕️

I recently became aware of the Alpenstille store through several recommendations from friends and acquaintances. I could hardly believe that 9 of the 13 people had already purchased their ski boots there. So I wanted to see for myself, as I also needed new ski boots. Previously, I thought I knew a lot about ski equipment. So I started measuring my feet… Mondopoint, last width, flex, etc. However, I could have saved myself all that trouble and would have preferred to go straight to Alpenstille, as they determined completely different, more precise measurements. The initial contact with Ms. Vogel was excellent; she was very friendly, and everything was explained to me very clearly and transparently. Afterward, I was greeted by Franz, who also explained the process to me. Then the analysis began. My feet were measured and examined in detail. After that, I continued with the fitting. I was presented with a decent selection of boots from a variety of brands. I was able to try on the models, luckily with Franz's help :) And since I was constantly undecided, I was offered other alternatives. When I finally decided, the boots were individually adjusted to my feet. First, an impression of my feet was taken to ensure the sole optimally adapted to my footbed. Then, the inner boot and the ski boot were heated to eliminate any remaining pressure points. I felt completely at ease and very well looked after and advised. At no point did I feel like I was being talked into something I didn't need. The appointment was scheduled for about two hours, but I stayed even longer without feeling any time pressure. I was very pleased that I was able to learn many other important things about ski boots and the entire topic of skiing during the consultation. Afterwards, I also had my new skis adjusted to the boots today. I should also mention that I had researched a suitable Z-value online beforehand. I could have saved myself this, too, as these values ​​should be viewed with extreme caution. Ms. Vogel and the responsible employee showed me the electronic binding test, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the technical equipment and expertise available in the service workshop. Finally, I treated myself to an infrared wax, which was done in no time. I'm completely satisfied and will only purchase my equipment and have it serviced there in the future. You'd think there would be a multitude of specialist sports shops in the Rhineland. Perhaps that's true... but definitely, no one north of the Alps puts as much heart and soul into skiing as Alpenstille.
