MiTech offers premium bicycles (mine is a Zeno E Rohloff). The workmanship appears to be of very high quality, and the frames seem much more robust than mass-produced ones. Quality was prioritized over low prices when it came to the components. The service is also excellent; for minor issues, replacement parts arrive promptly. Anyone looking for a premium bike will find what they need here, and MiTech is happy to accommodate many special requests. I would definitely buy a bicycle from them again. Update: The service is also premium, should any problems arise.

I bought a Fusion with a 12-speed Pinion transmission and am completely satisfied. The build quality is first-class, and the configuration was implemented exactly according to my wishes. Communication with Mr. Militzer, while brief, is very knowledgeable and focused – he knows exactly what he's talking about. A particularly positive aspect: All questions and concerns are resolved competently, whether before the purchase, during pickup, or afterward. The response times are absolutely perfect. The on-site pickup went smoothly. The bike meets all my expectations and gives me great pleasure. I definitely recommend buying it!

Scenario E Bosch Rohloff I couldn't even get information over the phone about the maximum weight capacity. I have to make an appointment in person. I'm just a casual rider after work, not a semi-pro, and this is my first e-bike! But I've been riding mountain bikes for 30 years, mostly on local trails. About the bike: The handling is okay. Not particularly agile, but unfortunately not very stable either. It's generally fun, though. I couldn't get the rear suspension adjusted sensitively. What I find really bad is that the rear belt often jumps off after a hard stop. When I picked up the bike, I was told that the belt was loose, but that the tension would be correct as soon as I got on and rode. My impression is that during a hard stop, the rear wheel is unloaded, and the belt is too loose. And the motor briefly pushes even when the rear wheel is locked, which then levers the belt off. I had to center the brake calipers myself. Component selection is fine. I just missed having any tips from the manufacturer. Assembly was fine except for the following: When I got home, I saw that the battery cover didn't fit at all and protruded. I reported this problem to MiTech, and they immediately acknowledged the error. After offering to file the cover down myself, I replied, "No way, I'll just mess it up." Or to come to the factory, which I couldn't manage due to the distance. They suggested sending me a raw, unpainted cover that I could replace myself to see if it fit. The right approach, they said, to fix the problem without much effort. Unfortunately, this cover only just barely fit. In other words, even with paint, it would still protrude. My suggestion that a technician fix it here or that they send me a box so the bike could be shipped back was rejected. I believe that if I buy a new bicycle for almost €8,000 and it has a defect right out of the box, then the seller has to ensure that the defect is rectified. After a few days of back-and-forth emails, MiTech agreed to send a technician because he was supposed to be in my area sometimes anyway. The technician did come, was very friendly, and clearly made an effort to adjust the original cover so that nothing protruded. He also modified the raw cover so that it would ideally fit with paint. This meant I could ride with the first cover while the raw one was being painted. When the newly painted cover arrived, it unfortunately didn't fit either. Then I offered to have a raw cover satin-finished and anodized. Anodizing is extremely thin, and that should work. However, I was then supposed to send the modified cover. My comment that it probably wouldn't fit because so much material had been removed to make it fit with paint was ignored. Okay, I sent it... got it back, and found that too much material had been removed in some places. I emailed back and forth several times, insisting that MiTech should take care of everything, not me as the buyer of a new bike. But MiTech insists I have to go there in person. Suddenly, the current condition was supposedly OK, and besides, it wasn't a defect but purely cosmetic. I also noticed that after every ride, there's quite a bit of dirt in the battery compartment, which apparently isn't good for the contacts. No response. Since I had neither the desire nor the time for this discussion, I left it at that. My inquiry about the front brake making very strange noises when braking hard hasn't been answered to this day. BRAKE! Just like my question about whether it's normal that some spokes were completely loose. Several centimeters of play, easily moved back and forth. Mind you, this was after the first leisurely ride. Why Rohloff and belt drive? Low maintenance, robust, no oily chain. So, good for someone who has little time and wants to ride. You accept the higher price and the extra weight. Unfortunately, these advantages don't apply to this bike.

I purchased a complete Tyke Rosl bike with a Rohloff Speedhub, and everything went perfectly, from the accuracy of the body measurements (detailed instructions) and communication to the precise and customized assembly. I allowed for a shipping time of a few weeks due to the winter. I would gladly buy from them again.

My wife and I have had three bicycles built here over a three-year period and will do so again if needed. We are completely satisfied with each of the three very different types of bicycles. The only drawback is the written communication, which could be improved. Information often only reaches the customer after inquiring, something I also mentioned during my last visit. Our bicycles were assembled on-site by Mr. Militzer after a personal consultation and then fine-tuned by us. It's essential to make an appointment beforehand, as Mi-Tech doesn't have a retail store. Anyone who thinks that a customized bike automatically has to be expensive might be pleasantly surprised. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and a comparable, pre-assembled bicycle sometimes even costs more. At Mi-Tech, however, the bicycle is exactly as you want it, right down to the color of the coating. If you want a custom-made bicycle, don't be in a hurry. The estimated delivery times weren't always accurate. Mi-Tech is a small bike manufacturer that produces high-quality bicycles (mainly mountain bikes). If your desired bike isn't advertised on their website, don't worry. Just give them a call and ask.

Everything here is just perfect! From the build quality of the frame and paintwork to the components and fine-tuning. They cater to every possible request. Simply fantastic. Communication was always very pleasant. I'll be placing another order soon... Many thanks again and all the best!

I leased the Tyke Shimano E8000 650B+ with Rohloff hub and belt drive as a company bike through JobRad. - The process with mi-tech went smoothly. - Very competent advice. - - I've been riding the bike for almost two years now, and it's the best bike I've ever had. I'm still thrilled with it – it's so low-maintenance! - The quality of the components and the entire bike is truly high. - Unfortunately, the wheel circumference was set to maximum upon delivery, so the speedometer was inaccurate, and the motor cut out at around 23 km/h. I had to adjust this using a software tool. - When inserting the battery, you have to make sure that the rubber buffer in the holder is pressed in firmly – otherwise, you won't be able to clamp the battery in place. I initially thought it was related to thermal expansion in winter (warm battery in a cold frame) – which isn't the case.

The custom-made Tyke frame is incredibly sturdy and a lot of fun to ride. All my requests were handled without any fuss, and the service was excellent. The only slight drawback was that the delivery time was a bit longer than promised. The price is also right. If you're looking for an affordable custom frame and want to bring your own ideas to life, this is the perfect place.

I bought a complete bike from MitTech in 2014. The frame is a standard Tyke 27.5" singlespeed mountain bike with Gates Carbon brakes. I'm extremely happy with this bike. It's incredibly fun to ride through the fields and forests of Brandenburg (of course, I'd use gears in the mountains). For me, it's a top-notch product with no flaws.
