On the morning of March 4, 2026, I called Intersport Solingen and asked if I could have a gait analysis done. I was told on the phone that it was possible and free of charge, with no obligation to buy anything. I was told I could just drop by. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted very rudely by an employee. She said in a dismissive tone that this was completely unacceptable. The whole experience was quite unpleasant, and I immediately felt uncomfortable. A colleague was called in, but even after that, the atmosphere remained cold and unhelpful. In the end, no gait analysis was performed, even though the machine was available in the store, and I didn't receive any proper advice on running shoes. Afterwards, I went to the Intersport in Langenfeld. There, I was greeted warmly right away, received a thorough gait analysis, and was given excellent advice. A huge difference. Perhaps the Solingen branch should take note.
