Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this online retailer. I returned a jacket over three weeks ago, and I haven't received a refund yet. I've been trying to reach Mr. Dieckmann by phone for a week without success. When I use the phone number provided, I only get a voicemail with a message saying I shouldn't leave a message, but that I'll call back – so far, to no avail!

Very friendly advice over the phone beforehand. Pick-up in the store was no problem. I'm very happy with my new stove and accessories, especially at such a good price. I'd gladly buy from them again.

The mountain hut is a small, local family business where even the retired parents are still involved and have a role to play. It's understandable that it might take a while to get in, so please bear with me. "We're all getting older!" I was interested in an adapter for a Primus stove and ended up buying the whole stove and adapter there. (Even cheaper than at the big retailers!) The owner's father was, in my opinion, very knowledgeable and helpful in advising me. Things are a bit slower-paced, but that's not a bad thing in our stressful and fast-paced times. I found the price, service, and advice to be very good. We had detailed and helpful phone conversations beforehand. Before I search and buy from the big online retailers next time, I'll definitely stop by the mountain hut first. Thank you and best regards to the parents; I wish them continued good health and fulfillment in their work. I feel sorry for anyone who can't understand that.

I spoke with the owner, Mr. Kai Diekmann, several times on the phone and reserved a specific pair of hiking boots, which were to be held at the store for me to try on. I arranged a firm appointment with Mr. Diekmann for Saturday, May 6, 2023. He wouldn't be there, but his parents would be, and the boots were there, along with several more in the same size that he had specially ordered from Hanwag for me. Great, I thought! What happened next was an absolute farce: we arrived at the agreed time (10:30 a.m.), but the door was locked, even though the store is supposed to open at 10:00 a.m. After ringing the bell several times and calling the provided mobile number, an older gentleman opened the door. He had absolutely no idea about the whole situation, nor did his wife, who had been called over. So: neither my boots were there, nor were the ordered boots at Hanwag. If they had at least apologized instead of being rude, the 80km drive would have been bearable. Never again "Die Berghütte" in Sprockhövel!

The shoe you wanted for your partner in size 37 was out of stock. Our agreement was that I would order you a selection of three pairs and contact you when they arrived. Unfortunately, you didn't wait for my call and went to the store on a whim.<br><br>However, the manufacturer hadn't delivered yet, and we hadn't contacted you to try them on.<br><br>So I can't figure out what went wrong or what was poor service.<br><br>Thank you very much,<br>Kai Dieckmann.

While searching for hiking boots suitable for hallux valgus, I came across the Sports & More website. The great advantage is the presence of a store where I could try on the shoes. Shoes not in stock in the store (Hanwag Bunion) were brought there for a fitting after an appointment. I found the advice from the manager's father to be very competent, detailed, and personal. I would like to thank them again for this special kind of customer service.

I wanted to buy a Primus gasoline stove, which was advertised online at Sports and More. Since I don't like mail order, I drove to the mountain hut on March 9th, 2023, which was listed as the Sports and More store. A complete disappointment. Despite the posted opening hours, the door was locked. After ringing the bell several times, an elderly woman answered, but she clearly had no idea what was going on. The stove wasn't in the store. She was determined to sell me a gas stove. I asked why the gasoline stove was advertised online if it wasn't available in the store. Her answer: "We don't have internet here." Her husband came over, grinned at me, and answered all my questions with "I have no idea." The woman then suggested that the gasoline stove might be at her son's other store. I asked where that store was, and then I went there to pick it up. The response: "We don't want that. I'm not giving out the address." Okay. I drove home without buying anything. ... Why on earth would you put two elderly people with dementia in front of a few half-empty shelves and call that a store? I strongly advise everyone against going there.

Problems with the shipping company (they returned the stored package after only 2 days instead of 7). A quick call to the shop, and they reshipped the package the next day. Not without calling me first to verify the address and sending me the tracking number and shipping confirmation by email shortly afterward. Free of charge (for me). IT COULDN'T BE BETTER! Thanks again!

Ordered on Friday, shipped on Monday. A week later, I still haven't received the package. When I inquired via email, the manager called back immediately. The assumption that it was DHL's fault was correct. The package was correctly labeled, and the contents were very well and securely packaged. Why delivery took 10 days remains a DHL secret. Conclusion: Sportandmore offers very good, fast service and responds immediately to inquiries. Top service!

Unfortunately, my package from the online shop got lost during the Christmas rush. On January 15th, I briefly spoke with a very helpful and friendly gentleman and explained the problem. Shortly afterward, he called back with an explanation and apology, and by the morning of January 16th, the refund had already arrived. Especially during the Christmas season, packages can easily get lost. This is a great example of how the people working here are approachable and willing to discuss anything, and how a good solution can be found. Thank you! :)
