In August 2025, we purchased a children's e-bike worth several thousand euros. Significant technical problems arose shortly after delivery. There were a total of four repair attempts. Twice the motor assistance failed, and twice the screw in the bottom bracket area came loose while we were riding. Each time, we were unable to continue riding, sometimes even more than 25 kilometers from home. After the fourth malfunction, the managing director promised us a refund with a handshake. This promise was revoked later that same day by the managing director's wife. We sought legal advice and could have pursued our claims legally. However, since our initial letter from our lawyer was met with a complete rejection, it was clear that a lengthy legal battle would ensue. We deliberately wanted to avoid this hassle. Therefore, we retrieved the bicycle and are now attempting to resolve the issues with the manufacturer. ... Withdrawing a previously agreed-upon solution is not, in our opinion, appropriate communication with customers. Our trust has been completely destroyed as a result. We strongly advise you to pay close attention to this. This was definitely our last purchase from this dealer.

I'm very satisfied! I would like to thank you for your quick and efficient service. I'm planning a bike tour. Five days before, my bike stopped working. I could already see myself staying home. I cautiously asked Vorstius if I could still bring the bike in. Sure, the friendly employee told me, we'll do our best! And that was really good! The bike was repaired, and the bike tour can go ahead. What outstanding service! Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

We bought all our bikes here. Most recently, the little children's bike for our youngest. We are more than satisfied with the advice and service. Very friendly salespeople with excellent knowledge. We will definitely buy our next bikes there as well.

In contrast to other bike shops in the city: I found someone who can actually speak English, found a bike to rent and the price was low(er). Highly recommended!

You don't get the feeling that the staff are trying to sell you the most expensive option, but rather what is best suited to your needs. And of course, a big thank you to the workshop; you can be sure that after every service or repair, your bicycle is ready to ride again without any worries. Hello, I was completely distraught today when my road bike broke down on the way from Heiligenhaus to Wesel. Luckily, the wonderful staff at Vorstius in Wesel helped me, so I was able to cycle the 70 km back without further incident. You can't get that kind of service online – it's great that there are such helpful people! 😍 Thank you!

The service person at the shop this morning was so helpful. He did his best to communicate in English when our German failed, and took time to help us buy a kickstand for my husband's #bikefriday. We are riding on 20" wheels so the shop had to cut down the kickstand and installed it to make sure it worked. He also helped us with a new chord to attach my backpack to the rear rack. Add to this a Klingel and all less than €30. He finished by wishing us a good journey! That was our#trailangel for the day! Now we're off to Amsterdam for the final leg of our bike tour 😊

My husband and I bought new bikes and received very friendly and competent advice; we felt very well looked after. Picking them up went smoothly too! Keep up the good work 👍 The bike rides beautifully 😍

Competent and friendly advice, even if you're just looking to buy a used bike. I spotted a great used bike in front of the store. When I asked for details, an employee came along and advised me on the €125 bike as if I were choosing a bike for €1,000. I thought that was really good. I bought the bike and was offered a quick check-up at the workshop to make sure I was getting a perfect bike. Such good service isn't common. I highly recommend 2-RAD VORSTIUS, a small, fine specialist shop with super friendly and competent employees.

A lovely bike shop in Wesel. I received professional and helpful advice, my questions were answered immediately, and they took the time to talk to me. I'm very satisfied and will definitely be back.
