I went there for the second time today with my Flyer e-bike, as the problem wasn't fixed after the first attempt. It's a creaking noise that causes vibrations in the frame. It can't be reproduced and occurs under all conditions (downhill, uphill, in neutral, under load, braking). The technician asked what he should do. "How am I supposed to know?" I replied. "You're the expert." He told me to take it for a ride and come back if it happened again. I then reiterated what I had written above about the problem and asked if I should just throw the bike away if the problem didn't occur during this test ride. "Buy a new one," was the answer. I might have to, but certainly not there. Unfortunately, I can't give zero stars. Addendum to my review: I had pointed out to the technician that the rear hub wasn't the problem. I went to another bike shop in W immediately afterward. They performed a test drive (which found nothing wrong) and then tried to read the error code. They didn't charge me. That's what I call excellent service! I left a two-digit amount in the coffee fund. 2nd update to my review: A little contact cleaner between the battery and the motor (on the terminals there) permanently solved the problem.

Good day Mr. Peter, I apologize for not being able to explain the issue in your case more clearly. You wanted to have undefined and sporadic noises fixed (you said they hadn't occurred on your last few rides!!). The fact that your bike has a motor we've never used and for which there is no longer any manufacturer service (an old Impulse motor), that the bottom bracket is an integrated component of the motor, that the derailleur/rear hub hasn't had spare parts available for years, and that the noises/problems only occur when the motor is present, didn't seem to bother you. That you then left in a huff and subsequently went to the trouble of writing this misrepresented and defamatory review is, in my opinion, very disappointing and insulting. Perhaps you should reconsider your explanation!<br><br>Sincerely,<br><br>Tobias Wildmann<br><br>Addendum: Dear Mr. Peter, we also directly pointed out to you that we have never carried this motor system and have/had no diagnostic capabilities for it. I'm absolutely thrilled with Fahrrad Wildmann in Wuppertal! From the very beginning, I felt completely at ease. The advice was excellent, highly competent, and, most importantly, perfectly tailored to my individual needs. Several suitable models were presented to me, allowing me to compare them at my leisure. The consultant took an incredible amount of time and answered all my questions thoroughly. In the end, I was able to buy not one, but two bicycles – and I feel really good about it. I came here for advice on buying a new bike. As a beginner, they took an incredible amount of time for me. Every single one of my questions was answered, and they carefully considered which size and model would suit me best. I was able to test ride several different bikes and ultimately chose a beautiful gravel bike. I also received excellent support in selecting the right equipment – ​​bag, water bottle, lock, pedals, etc. – which was a huge help as a newcomer. Picking up the bike was completely hassle-free. I've been riding my bike for a while now and am still very happy with it. Highly recommended!

High praise from me. I called on Tuesday as an emergency and explained the situation. Although they were apparently very busy and had little time, I was able to drop off the bike and pick it up on Thursday, even though the appointment was scheduled for Friday. Excellent work, honest advice, and very friendly. I'll only go there in the future if there's a problem with my bike. Tobias Wildmann saved my cycling vacation. Thank you so much!

I recently discovered this shop with its repair shop. I appreciated the honest and direct communication and the fact that there were no unnecessary appointments weeks in advance. I was able to leave my bike there immediately, and shortly after, I received an email that it was ready for pickup. With such exceptional customer service, I will gladly return.

Honest, direct, and competent! I recently visited Fahrrad Wildmann to have my mountain bike serviced, and I have nothing but positive things to say! After the service and the replacement of the brake pads, my bike rides like new – a real pleasure! The advice was extremely competent, and I was particularly impressed by the fast service. While you often have to wait weeks at other workshops, I was seen here in no time. Thank you! I'll definitely be back! I'll definitely buy my first full-suspension mountain bike here!
