Very disappointed, not acceptable for Decathlon where the service level is usually much higher. I wanted to buy a bicycle but had to go somewhere else in the end. Long waiting time to get support. When I finally got help it was close to closing time. I still went quickly to pay for the bicycle. At the checkout the discount shown everywhere in the shop and announced by the vendor doesn’t work. The vendor asked to come back the following day as it was closing time. The following day, after long wait again, another vendor finds out the discount is actually for another bike they don’t have in stock. They only have much more expensive bikes. So I came twice for nothing, wasted lots of time, and I still don’t understand how they can have so many signs advertising discount for a bike they do not even sell (and at least 2 days in a row). Despite all these troubles, they did not offer any discount, and even worse, I would need to pay extra for labour to change accessories on the bike (not standard in Decathlon France).

Closed 11:00 on a Tuesday !!! Good range of products in different price groups. Spacious feeling to shop.

We're sorry you had this experience. At that time, we were conducting a practice evacuation to ensure the highest level of safety in case of an emergency. An employee was present outside the store at all times, informing every customer in two languages. The interruption lasted exactly 10 minutes, and every customer was able to re-enter the store afterward. We hope you'll give us another chance!

It is the 3rd time I go there because my rain treck jacket, which was just over 3 years old, had problems (not waterproof anymore, zipper broken twice). Chris was each time very kind and comprehensive, and in the end he proposed to replace my jacket even though it was not under guarantee anymore 😍 thanks a lot again

Very friendly stuff! I was interested into an article that was not available (SUP electric pump with batterie). @Laura from Decathlon told me she will inform herself. One day later she left a message on my Decathlon account! That’s a very good and reliable service. Great that you are in Mainz now!
