I haven't experienced anything like this in ages... I'm currently confined to a wheelchair at home due to an accident, and last Friday I went to Ortho Nova in Biebrich with my mobility scooter to buy gloves for it. They didn't carry them, though, and suggested I try Fahrrad-Ambrosius. When I arrived, I asked a woman who was just about to go in if someone could come out. Promptly, a young man came out and, before I could even say a word, said he could already see the problem and would be right back. I thought he was psychic, but then he came back with an air pump! 😄 I hadn't even thought about my tires being a little low on air! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Wow, what friendly service... he didn't even want anything for it! By the way... I did get my gloves there, of course! 😃👍🏻

Cycling holiday, Rhine Valley. A breakdown occurred on the Mainz-Rüdesheim leg of the journey, on the ascent to the Schierstein Bridge. The front derailleur had broken off and was caught in the spokes. I managed to fix it enough to push my bike. On the Wiesbaden side, I was given a tip about Ambrosius Bicycles. Using Google Maps and pushing my bike for 3 km in the heat, I reached Ambrosius. Ambrosius Bicycles helped me immediately! My bike is over two decades old. Ambrosius had the right replacement part! I was so relieved to be able to continue my trip. Competence and helpfulness – thank you, Ambrosius.

Ambrosius did an outstanding job servicing and repairing my bicycle! The service was fast, reliable, and very professional. The staff are extremely competent and friendly. In addition to repairs, the shop also offers a great selection of new bicycles, so you can get excellent advice if needed. The quality of the work and the fair prices completely won me over. I actually thought I'd receive satisfactory service. But what the men and women at that bike shop get away with is beyond outrageous. They systematically lie, twist the truth, the service is abysmal, and they skimp on goodwill wherever possible. Let me put it this way: there is no goodwill. Agreed-upon services aren't performed, but they're still charged. Avoid this shop.

I'm a huge fan of the Schuhmacher family! Even with a long-standing problem, like my gears... they take care of it until it's fixed. And it's really important to mention that they always treat you with respect and maintain a friendly, approachable tone. Thanks, Philipp! I've experienced it completely differently. Especially in shops where you're initially treated with respect, you buy a bike costing €5,000 or more.

Fantastic spontaneous help with a bicycle problem! On Holy Saturday, between the two holidays, the hub dynamo of my front wheel gave out – my planned weekend in Wiesbaden would have been ruined – but Fahrrad Ambrosius (Ambrosius Bicycles) incredibly quickly and temporarily got my bike running again and promised me a replacement part for a permanent solution on Tuesday morning – the first day after the holidays – and they kept their word! By noon on Tuesday, I was able to continue my journey with a new front wheel! Many thanks for this amazing service, which saved my cycling Easter weekend in Wiesbaden, even though I'm from Munich!

Sadly not all my defects were fixed, but I wouldn't hold it against the shop since it was the fault of my old mechanic. Overall great bike shop. Super kind, fast, fair prices.
