Our dive instructor David was fantastic; he took a lot of time for us and answered every single question. It was great fun. Just a heads-up, the dive center currently only has wetsuits up to size 2XL (which run small), so keep that in mind if you're tall or broad-shouldered when booking. We had a great time and would love to come back.

A new, small dive center by the lake. The surrounding area offers everything you might need, including restrooms and a snack bar. I had a short refresher course with Florian before my vacation. The atmosphere was relaxed, I felt very comfortable, and I will definitely come back to get further certifications.

A nice, small dive center with friendly staff that leaves nothing to be desired, located directly on the lake. All around, you'll find everything a diver needs, from a snack bar and restrooms/showers to a playground for those who aren't (yet) divers. Rooms/bungalows are also available for rent. The lake was formerly a brown coal mine, and it remains largely in its natural state, with a correspondingly diverse fish population, ranging from perch and very large carp to pike.
