Since the queue at the rental shop in Altenberg was practically non-existent, we decided to drive the 5 minutes to Geising. We received expert advice and were very satisfied with the quality.

Even when cross-country skiing conditions are good in our neighboring Czech Republic, you can't rent skis here. They obviously don't want to make money. Luckily, you don't need them in February 👍🤦♀️

Good afternoon, we are sorry for your disappointment. Our cross-country ski rental service is operating according to the information provided by the tourist office in Altenberg, which states that cross-country skiing is not possible due to the current weather conditions. Of course, we are also out and about, but not this morning.
