I wanted to buy a rubber glue with my order. I was told they had a 700g can of "Normal Glue" in stock. I thought, "Okay, I'll take that." I ordered it by email because it wasn't available in the online shop. What the boss didn't tell me on the phone was that it was a solvent-based glue. This has been banned for several years. The glue arrived and, of course, I immediately noticed the warning labels on the can. I opened the glue and smelled it. It is indeed a solvent-based glue. I called, and the boss told me that almost all large shops and operators use this glue to glue pre-ordered clubs. It dries faster, allowing you to prepare and assemble more clubs in less time. I couldn't imagine that happening. I then inquired at a total of five different shops in German-speaking countries. None of these shops use this "Normal Glue." I don't understand why they have to lie to my face on the phone. They could just say they made a mistake instead of telling me some nonsense. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to the shop's reply: I didn't specifically want this glue. They offered it to me without mentioning that it was a solvent-based glue. Why would I want such a glue? That makes absolutely no sense. Lying to my face first and then claiming I specifically asked for a solvent-based glue is quite a stretch. The glue is from Contra because: 1. it says "CONTRA" in bold on the front, and 2. it says "Contra Tischtennis Service Hamburg GmbH, Heidekoppel 26, D-24558 Henstedt-Ulzburg." Apparently, the dealer doesn't even know what he was selling. It's disgusting that the owner is twisting the facts like that and continuing to lie instead of apologizing. PS: I even found the photos I took of the can.

Dear Benny Smith, instead of airing your grievances publicly, we would have preferred it if you had contacted us personally to clear up any misunderstandings. We haven't used solvent-based adhesive for a long time. It used to be the only type available, and that's why all retailers used it for installation. Whether it was the Contra brand adhesive, nobody can know for sure, as there were many manufacturers. YES - we also used it for a long time, and YES - it dries faster, which was very convenient. NO - we never lied to you. On the contrary, you specifically requested this adhesive, and we had some remaining stock, which we supplied. Here's what I find unfair: We don't offer the adhesive in our online shop, so you ordered it by email. Now you're complaining that we provided this service!? Please only order items that are available online in the future to avoid these kinds of misunderstandings. Best regards, the TT Shop Team

A huge thank you to Mr. Bormann's team! Advice, assembly, delivery – everything was top-notch!!! I ordered on Monday and by noon today, Thursday, two rackets with glued-on rubbers were already here in Austria. I was actually expecting them next week... Thanks again, and I can definitely recommend this shop.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this shop; I've placed three orders so far and there have never been any problems. The delivery note is checked and included internally by two employees, so shortages or incorrect parts are virtually impossible. Delivery via DPD is quick and straightforward; alternatively, delivery via DHL is also available if preferred.

What fantastic service! I received a response the same day. There was a slight issue because I had accidentally entered the wrong address when ordering. However, as soon as I noticed, the colleague immediately contacted DPD and resolved everything. Furthermore, the rackets and balls arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely shop here again.

Excellent service and very helpful advice. I received complete support both when choosing my clubs and later when buying shoes, something I've rarely experienced before. Even though I could only order online due to the distance and had to rely on telephone support, I will definitely shop here again for my next purchase, as the team proved to be outstanding. Very friendly, fast, and uncomplicated service. I had an emergency and urgently needed indoor shoes. From my initial inquiry (to see if delivery was still possible) to receiving the DPD tracking information, only 20 minutes passed. The shoes arrived on time. All my other orders have also always gone smoothly. I am very satisfied with the service and the communication. I will definitely visit the physical store next time I have the opportunity.
