I can only agree with the negative reviews. After buying a new valve and finding that both tires were still leaking air, we wanted to exchange it, which the saleswoman said wasn't possible because all the valves had been tested! She said it could only be the inner tube! What if both tires are leaking air? Clearly, sales take precedence here, and from now on we'll go to a shop that actually provides service and cares about the customer. It's a shame, because you really want to go to your local bike shop.

We can only agree with the last review (since we had the same problem). What annoyed me most was the unfriendliness of the service staff, who really spoke to you in a condescending manner. This was the last time I stayed here.

Owner's response

Hello Mr. Walter,
It's nothing to do with being unfriendly if we can't repair your bike immediately. Even if it's "just" a flat tire, with only one employee in the workshop, we don't have the ability to provide immediate service.

I had a flat tire on my mountain bike near the Volkersdorf archery range. After all attempts to repair it on-site had failed, a very friendly employee at the archery range took me and my bike in his van to Radsport Nösel at Wilder Mann. There, I was completely grounded! Neither the workshop employee nor the sales lady were friendly or helpful. I bought a new tube and put it all back together by myself. There wasn't even a rag for the bike chain; I had to pry it off with a Tempo tissue from my backpack. I felt like the dirty child who walks into the living room and is frowned at by everyone present and told not to touch anything! That's not how I imagine service!!!

I've already bought my second bike there. I received excellent advice; the bike was explained to me in a way that even a novice could understand... e-bike... You can test the bike on the road, not just indoors like in some shops, which is much better because it allows everyone to test its suitability for the road. Thanks for the great advice. I already love my bike, even though I've only ridden it once. Keep up the good work!

My gravel bike's drivetrain was completely wrecked: broken derailleur, derailleur hanger, cassette, chain, and large chainring. They also found cracks in the wheel. I received help in less than a week. I was able to bring in parts I already had and have them installed. The advice was excellent, and everything is working perfectly again 😊. Great service and helpful advice. Thank you!

Owner's response

Thank you for the good review!

Great service, affordable prices, very friendly staff. They answer all your questions very patiently. They also offer bicycles on leasing via Lease-a-bike. Highly recommended! 🙂

I've been there twice in quick succession. Both times, I got the feeling that as someone interested in working on their own bike and primarily looking for advice and parts, I wasn't very welcome. Other customers who brought their bikes in for complete repairs were treated much more kindly. I was also sold ridiculously overpriced bike parts. For example, a tire for three times the price it costs online. I understand that prices are simply higher in brick-and-mortar stores, but three times as much seems excessive. I'll be buying my accessories at other shops from now on.

Owner's response

Hello Ms. Bauckmeier,

We served you just as kindly as all our other customers. We were happy to find and sell you the spare parts we had in stock for your bike. For anything we didn't have, we offered to order it for you. The folding road bike tire you mentioned isn't overpriced; you purchased it from us at the regular list price.

Best regards, Daniela Nösel

...

A fantastic bike shop with incredibly friendly staff. Every bike, no matter how old, is treated as worth preserving and happily repaired. The staff will even tighten a screw or two without being asked and without charging extra. Really great, thank you! Keep up the good work.

I highly recommend this shop!!! I spontaneously stopped by today with my flat tire, which was repaired right away. I also received excellent advice on my new child's bike seat. The shop also had the right accessories (child's helmet, raincoat, etc.). They immediately bolted everything onto my bike, and we can safely set off tomorrow. The young colleague was very friendly and helpful. Excellent.

I couldn't get my tire back on the rim, so I came to you. The mechanic was incredibly friendly and calmly explained the trick and how to do it without tire levers. Kudos for that, and you've gained a new customer.
