Very unpleasant experience Unfortunately the week of August 15th was the only place available to rent bikes. First at all They gave me, for a week, an old bike, whose gears were faulty. Then, when I returned the bike, they withheld Eur. 40 from my deposit, claiming it was a scratch I couldn't see. They're arrogant and dishonest.

Hello Liliana,<br><br>I'm sorry you felt you had an unpleasant experience with us. Let me clarify the points one by one:<br><br>Availability<br>The World Transplant Games took place in Dresden during the week you mentioned. Participants from all over the world rented bicycles from us for this event – most of them months in advance. Combined with the general holiday season, demand was correspondingly high, so very few bikes were available at short notice.<br><br>Regarding the bicycle<br>The bicycle you used was by no means an old model, but a GIANT Gravel Bike Revolt Advanced 2, manufactured in 2025. This bike had only been in our inventory for three months at that time. The gears were, of course, correctly adjusted when you handed it over.<br><br>Regarding the damage<br>During use, the bike fell onto the derailleur. This caused the gears to shift incorrectly, so they no longer functioned properly while riding and subsequently had to be readjusted. Additionally, scratches were caused to the derailleur and the handlebar tape. We deducted €40 from the security deposit to cover the cost of repairing this damage – an amount that actually underestimates the true cost of the repairs.<br><br>We believe it's fairer for the person who caused the damage to pay for it, rather than distributing the costs across the entire rental price and thus among all tenants.<br><br>Sincerely,<br>Lutz Klingner<br>GIANT Rental Station Dresden

Professional guys! We rented to bikes (one of them with kids seat). Nice service and very good bicycles, everything works perfectly and you don’t need to worry about anything! The battery was full and we enjoyed a full day of cycling! 🫶

Unlike other rental services, they had trailer to carry both of my children. We had a great day in Dresden thanks to them. We had a big problem with bike then they came and changed it with a new one. So we could continue. Giant e bike was comfortable to ride although i was pulling two kids behind in a trailer.

Highly recommend! Very quick and easy sign and even easier to collect and drop the bike. The rent was reasonable nable and I found this to be a great way to explore the city and beyond!

Quick and easy reservation over the phone, simple check out and return. Bike and bags were good quality. Price was good. Staff was friendly. Location was easy to find (long term car parking a little tricky though). Close to historic centre of Dresden.

Thank you Giant Testcenter Dresden for making my Giant roadbike great again! I had an excellent experience with this store and all their staff! They did their best to speak to me in English and Serviced my beloved Giant 2012 Defy! Quick service time, great customer service and all for a very competitive price!
