Yesterday we went to Wild East to buy two snowboard sets. We did have to wait half an hour for a staff member, but the store was packed. The wait was definitely worth it, though. We received fantastic advice in a way I've never experienced before. It was all very friendly and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this store if you want proper advice. 👍🏻👍🏻

Great service and advice, and cool people too. There aren't many snowboard shops in and around Dresden, so it's nice to find independent stores like this. Okay, the opening hours take some getting used to, but you can adjust. I've been a customer of Wild East for many years and always enjoy going back.

I was in the store a few days ago to buy a completely new ski setup, as I had been very satisfied with the advice I received years ago when I bought a snowboard. That's all gone now. I had plenty of time and patiently waited 20 minutes for assistance (there were about three other customers in the store when I arrived). What I then received, I wouldn't call advice. I was given a boot to try on – the employee left. After a long wait, I was finally able to tell him that it was a bit too small. He left again, and after about 10 minutes, I was given the next size up. The salesperson left again and was never seen again. Then, after a while, a woman came, and I was able to ask for an alternative pair to compare. I was then given a used loaner boot with the suggestion that they could sell it to me (it was quite scratched up). Before I could ask if it was possible to order a new one, she was gone. And I sat/stood there for about 20 minutes before I simply left. ... A very disappointing experience, but reading the store's reactions to some reviews here confirms my impression.

Very friendly, pleasant, and patient service. Despite the store being full, we felt well taken care of. Thank you so much for letting us rent ski equipment on such short notice!

Miserabler Service

Owner's response

Thank you for your personal review.

It can happen that a product breaks during use.

Snowboard bindings are subject to heavy use and wear, and it's not uncommon for a strap or clamp to break, even on the first day. No binding manufacturer is immune to this, and we're just as annoyed by it. In your case, even with particularly thorough inspection, the damage wouldn't have been visible. Unfortunately, we can't conduct a practical test. The accusation that it was cheaply glued on is absolutely unfounded with a current Nitro team binding. The claim that the entire binding detaches from the board is also rather inappropriate.

Ultimately, we replaced your damaged item.

It's a shame that our conversation in the store ended so unprofessionally.

We wish you continued enjoyment in life.

They charged me to tell me they could not adjust my skis and I could not get my skis unless I paid. This was bad customer service. I will never go back.
