My first time with a happy ending! I urgently needed two taillights: one for permanent mounting and another with a clip for my backpack. I received a friendly welcome, even though the employee was busy with another customer. I found the accessories myself right away because the store is clearly laid out. Within seconds, I had my first desired item in my hands, and to top it off, the friendly salesperson, who had just been assisting another customer, was right there with me. A few seconds later, I was holding the second taillight. He was able to answer all my questions immediately and even pointed out that it was battery-operated. I think the price of around ten euros per taillight is fair. The checkout process was quick, and the farewell was warm and friendly. That's exactly how I imagine a first time should be! Quick in, quick out, and completely satisfied. Thank you!

On Friday, I had a double dose of bad luck on my way to work. Not only did the chain come off my e-bike, but I was completely given the runaround at Bike Department East. It's understandable that the appointment system makes work more convenient for various reasons. I also understand that the people in the workshop don't always want to drop everything for everyone, but in my time of need, I would have appreciated a bit more helpfulness. A colleague who offered to help me without any fuss was called back—instead, I listened to a lecture about the store's high standards and insurance, which supposedly made direct assistance impossible. I eventually found a solution in another shop in the neighborhood and received help there. It took not four minutes, but eight.

"Trusted bike shop," wish-fulfiller, and expert consultant After a six-month break from cycling due to surgery, I finally wanted to get some fresh air on two wheels again. Excellent advice from Franz and the rapid implementation of the necessary modifications in the workshop – a million thanks to everyone involved. Nothing made me happier yesterday 🥰🚴🏻‍♀️ It will bring a smile to my face again and again in the coming days.

Absolutely top-notch service! A brake shoe on the rear wheel had fallen off. Even though we didn't have an appointment, we were immediately greeted in a friendly manner, and the problem was professionally solved within minutes. And not only that! The handlebars and mudguards were also repaired, all free of charge. Thank you so much! That saved our day. We spent the short wait looking at some cool Bromtons.

We recently arrived in Leipzig from South Africa with an ebike that required a battery. This was as a result of being unable to transport the battery by airline from South Africa to Germany. BDO quickly sourced the battery and fitted same within a day. We are extremely greatful to Vicky and the BDO Team for excellent service.

Friendly staff and a nice store. I came here because I was looking for a gravel or monstercross bike. Unfortunately, they no longer carry Bombtrack but they do carry a wide range of Specialized and also Veloheld. A staff member assisted me in test riding two bikes and was friendly the entire time. In the end I did not find a bike but overall it was a positive experience.

Great service, knowledgeable, very friendly. They have a very nice selection of quality bicycles and accessories! 11-5-19 Recently I was having derailleur issues and brought my bike in for repairs. They fixed found the issue being a bent derailleur. Fixed the bike in less than 10 minutes. These guys are great!
