Our bikes have been taken cared by Grupetto since 2018, here, but also also at the mobile werkstatt, fast and proficient :) probably it could be a bit expensive, but reliable.

I'm not usually one to post negative reviews online, but I felt I had to share my experience. I was just at the repair shop with my bike for an appointment. Unfortunately, the mechanic couldn't find me in his calendar, and we realized I'd mistakenly booked the appointment for the Markkleeberg store. I asked him what we could do. He was incredibly rude, lectured me, and suggested I take my bike to Markkleeberg. I'm obviously very pregnant. I pointed this out again and asked for an exception, explaining that I'm nine months along and it was already quite difficult to get the bike there. I also said there was no rush to pick it up. This was emphatically denied; the shop simply didn't have the capacity. When I saw that the entire shop and the bike rack were empty, I was so upset that I left with tears in my eyes. Speechless!
Owner's response
Dear Ms. Knoth,

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you found the situation unpleasant – this does not reflect our standards for customer service.

We would like to explain the reasons behind this:

At the time of your visit, we did indeed have no available capacity in the workshop. Even though the showroom appeared empty, this unfortunately does not mean that we can accept additional repairs. The customer area must remain deliberately clear so that customers and employees can move around safely – especially with bicycles in the room.

In addition, we currently have two employees out sick, which limits our workshop capacity. At the same time, we lack the space to temporarily store additional bicycles without disrupting workflows and safety.

Generally, we try to accept walk-in orders when a bicycle is no longer roadworthy in order to ensure the mobility of our customers. In your case, however, the bicycle was still rideable, which is why we were unfortunately unable to prioritize it for organizational reasons.

Regardless, we have offered you an appointment for next week to address your issue as quickly as possible.

We understand that this situation was particularly disappointing given your personal circumstances. However, we ask for your understanding that we were unable to make an exception for organizational reasons.

Sincerely,
Your Grupetto Team

A super competent team! As the only Canyon service partner in Leipzig, their workshop was my first choice for having my trusty road bike checked out and getting to the bottom of a creaking noise. Quite a bit needed to be done: the inspection revealed that the bearings and freehub were shot. The bill was therefore a bit higher, but the problem was solved. The bike has been rolling like new ever since! Highly recommended for all Canyon owners!

I paid €89 for a repair estimate. The final cost came to €2400. That seemed a bit steep for a bike I'd built myself for half the price, so I took the liberty of asking exactly what was wrong with the parts listed as defective. When I only received evasive answers, I politely asked for a call back from the employee who had looked at the bike, so I could get advice from him at the repair appointment. At that point, the employee in the shop offered me more excuses (first claiming the employee was sick, then that he no longer worked there). For context: three whole days passed between the estimate and when I picked up the bike. And not only that: the employee became extremely unfriendly, even intimidating, and practically shouted me out of the shop. Conclusion: I'm sure there are competent and fair, probably even friendly, employees there. But my experience was absolutely terrible. Edit: Sure, I'm the bad guy here.

Hello Robert, our records show that we issued you a bill of sale in November 2024. Why you're now complaining almost a year later isn't entirely clear to us. We've tried to reach you, but other than you hanging up and then blocking the number, nothing has happened. Too bad... We hope the goose gets over the nausea well :)

Super friendly staff. My rear derailleur broke on my way to work. The people at Grupetto were able to help me right away and repair it. I got my bike back in better condition than before the damage. 10/10. Will come here if I have any future problems!

Grupetto bike shop offers excellent service to all family members. The staff is really friendly and professional and offers quick and competent help. And they also send a message if they notice something that needs to be fixed that wasn't mentioned. They ask permission to fix it. 10 points for sure. Big big recommendation.
