⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A dream in titanium – perfection down to the smallest detail About six years ago, my search for the perfect bicycle began. I didn't want a compromise bike, but one that simply worked: comfortable, ergonomic, low-maintenance, quiet, without aching wrists after 10 kilometers, without creaking, without constantly needing gear adjustments, and without oil-stained trouser legs. In short: a bicycle that you ride, not constantly repair. After intensive research, it was clear to me: titanium frame, Pinion gearbox, and belt drive. Searching for a manufacturer who not only builds but also understands, I ended up at Vigmos in Leipzig. On March 17, 2025, I spoke with Danny Röhr for the first time, and even this initial conversation showed me: here was someone speaking with passion, experience, and genuine technical understanding. In several detailed phone calls, we analyzed my previous bicycles, saddle issues, geometry preferences, touring profile, luggage usage, and ergonomic requirements. Danny listened carefully, asked the right questions, and offered well-founded, field-tested component suggestions. This blend of customer wishes and technical expertise is rare these days, but here it's truly practiced. Shortly afterward, I received the first custom frame drawing. After about two weeks, the final geometry was determined, including the step-through frame, precisely tailored to my needs. Throughout the production process, communication remained personal and transparent. When the titanium frame arrived at Vigmos, I immediately received a photo via WhatsApp—a real goosebump moment. From the first phone call to the handover in Leipzig, it only took 2.5 months. The first test ride in the park, with Danny in front and me following, felt instantly right: smooth, stable, and perfectly balanced. I took my dream bike home that same day. Despite its robust technology and full equipment, this custom-made bike weighs only about 14 kg, something you really appreciate when you have to carry it. And this is where another ingenious detail becomes apparent: the crossbar on the step-through frame provides a convenient, integrated grab handle. This allows me to carry the bike safely and comfortably up stairs – extremely helpful in everyday life and especially practical when traveling and navigating stairs. Since I live on a hill, however, the first climb revealed that the gearing needed optimization for my terrain. A quick phone call was all it took. Danny responded immediately with a solution-oriented approach: "Try it out, and if it doesn't work, we'll change it." After tests with full touring gear, it was clear: adjustments were necessary. Two weeks later, I was back at Vigmos for a pulley replacement, perfect fine-tuning of the gearing, and, in addition, relocation of the front light to the handlebar mount, as I use a front bag. Danny had even thoughtfully welded four threaded inserts into the head tube for this purpose – meticulous, custom work down to the last detail. To date, I've ridden almost 1600 km and am completely thrilled: The Pinion P1.12 shifts precisely, directly, and absolutely silently. No clicking, no readjusting. The belt drive runs smoothly, quietly, and virtually maintenance-free. The titanium frame offers a fantastic combination of comfort, stiffness, and smooth riding. And even on bad days, the low step-through frame makes it easy to get on my dream bike. This bike isn't just a means of transportation for me; it's a custom-made, trustworthy piece, built with heart, mind, and meticulous craftsmanship. Many thanks to Danny Röhr and Vigmos. I picked up my custom-developed bike yesterday. Unbelievable but true: from the initial contact, to the personal, technically absolutely competent, and beyond-all-question expert advice, to the final delivery, everything was top-notch! After the test rides, I'm finally convinced: every cent was well spent. I sit perfectly on my bike; the smoothness, comfort, and stiffness, along with the drivetrain suggested by Danny, all work together perfectly. The bike practically "runs by itself." I felt well-informed, advised, and guided at all times, especially on the points where I was unsure or unclear. I can only recommend Vigmos to anyone who wants a unique, customized bike that's perfectly tailored to their personal needs. Conclusion: A bike with addictive potential! One final comment: the on-site support is also top-notch – Leipzig is simply fantastic, and for that – thank you!

Never before in my life have I had the privilege of riding a bike like this. It feels like an extension of my body. Like one. It conveys a sense of security and stability. It's always controllable. When I push it to its limits, it approaches them gradually. I'm thrilled every time I get to ride it. At the same time, it amazes me how much of my energy is converted into forward momentum. My journey with Danny began over a year ago. I never would have imagined that I would first have to grapple so intensely with myself. Of course, the primary focus is on what my dream bike should be like. But self-reflection and a deeper understanding of myself are what made my bike what it is. As a complete novice when it comes to cycling, Danny took me under his wing and patiently explained everything I needed to know. Most importantly, he made sure I understood it. Now that my bike is finished, I realize just how much expertise went into it. I would even go so far as to say that the Nightingale, as I call my bike, represents a connection between Danny and me. Mutual inspiration plays just as important a role as time. Because if you want a bike for life, don't stress. If you follow my advice, you'll be surprised by the result. Danny, through his comprehensive advice regarding geometry and all the other details, managed to perfectly realize my wishes! I'm a trained precision mechanic and toolmaker, which unfortunately also means I'm extremely meticulous! For this reason, I simply have to say that the result far exceeds my high expectations. I bought all the titanium parts—the frame set with fork, stem, handlebars, and rack—from Danny and assembled the titanium bike myself. All the parts are very cleanly welded and finished; all the threads are square and turn smoothly. That's what I call perfectionism! The picture shows the bike after assembly, but before the first test ride and fine-tuning. Many thanks from Schleswig-Holstein!

WE ARE ABSOLUTELY HAPPY - Thank you, Danny! We stumbled across bike builder Danny Röhr and his company Vigmos online by chance. The trip from Bonn to Leipzig was definitely worth it. We are now the proud owners of two high-quality, custom-made, and perfectly designed trekking bikes. Pinion gearbox, a titanium frame adapted to our height, disc brakes, high-quality hubs... everything our hearts desired was made possible by Danny. Even the smallest details were considered, details you wouldn't find in a typical bike shop (all internal cables, perfectly coordinated design touches like colored valve caps, bell, dynamo, and rear hub), a color-matched suspension fork, a clever and barely visible light mount, etc.). He's always available, the advice is excellent, and he doesn't let himself be swayed by frequent questions. In fact, if something didn't work as we expected, his explanations were completely understandable and made perfect sense. Even after the maiden voyage from Bonn to Limburg, the significantly increased fun factor was noticeable. Thanks to Vigmos and its exceptional owner, our future bike tours will be even longer because they're simply more enjoyable and relaxing. Summary: Everything is GREAT! Danny managed to perfectly implement my wishes! A fantastic result that more than met my high expectations. I bought the frame from Danny and built it myself. The Vigmos frame is cleanly welded, all threads run smoothly. I've ridden this bike for 6 months and 4,000 km now. Thanks! For those who want to read more: I spent a long time looking for a frame/bike that met my needs and test-rode several steel frames, titanium bikes, etc. I ride a 60cm frame height. Standard frames are too soft when you add luggage. I wanted a frame for: - Cycling tours - Everyday riding - Sporty riding - Straight handlebars - No more aluminum frames, my old one cracked and I didn't want that anymore - No steel frame, too spongy a ride - 50mm wide tires - High load capacity - And much more Danny designed and built a frame for me that certainly wasn't easy. For some of my requests, Danny suggested better versions. A great contact. WARNING! It's addictive to have a dream frame. I can't afford to build another bike, but I still dream of a new Vigmos! Since I couldn't find a suitable adventure bike for my next big Andes tour, I was looking for a frame builder who could build my 27.5+ dream bike out of titanium with a Rohloff hub and Lauf fork. Danny Röhr took an incredible amount of time to consider my wishes and requirements and created the perfect dimensional drawing. The frame arrived a month earlier than expected and was perfectly built by him using the parts I wanted. The handover in Leipzig went smoothly, and the bike exceeds my expectations! I will order my next bike from Danny again.

I had a beautiful, extra-lightweight trekking bike built here that practically rides itself. :-D The price-performance ratio was excellent, and contact with Danny is always friendly. Whenever a service is needed, or even now, three years later, if there's a small problem, it's always resolved quickly.
