I went there spontaneously because of a rubbing noise from the mudguard. A friendly employee came out immediately, repaired the mudguard, and explained what I should look out for and what other issues my bike might have (but without trying to sell me a repair). He recommended a full inspection (costing €70), but first he fixed the bike so I could continue riding safely. All free of charge and within 10 minutes (no appointment necessary).

I changed my bicycle tube there myself and they gave me lots of valuable tips. They also gave me the required tools and even a hand when I was struggling with fixing the gear jumper, Free of charge! That was a pleasant experience for me.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this bike shop! The service is first-class: friendly, competent, and honest. The advice was very detailed, without any pressure. My bike was repaired quickly and reliably, and it's been running like new ever since. The selection of bikes and accessories is also fantastic, with something for every budget and every need. I'll definitely be back and can highly recommend the shop!

At first, it seemed like a glimmer of hope. After my chain broke and I had to scooter for 1.5 km, I bought a new 10-speed chain. The salesman, who had only been there for two months, initially claimed the quick link was included. When I explained my predicament and how I needed it immediately, it turned out it was missing. Buying the quick link for almost 4 euros more was one thing, but when I asked to borrow a chain tool to shorten and install the chain myself, I was brushed off with the excuse that they weren't a self-service workshop. This rather self-assured behavior sums up a complete failure to provide assistance. Luckily, there was a local shop on Schnorrstrasse just around the corner, where they lent me some tools to get the chain back on my bike.
Owner's response
Dear Mr. Glück,

Thank you for your visit and your purchase with us. I'm sorry that there was some confusion during the conversation with my colleague regarding your question about the chain lock. Shimano does indeed use different connection systems for different chain models – this is sometimes difficult to answer immediately, even for experienced employees. However, my colleague corrected himself during the conversation.

The chain you purchased was equipped with a special chain pin and could have been installed without any problems. Whether using a chain pin or a chain lock, in both cases the chain must be shortened to the appropriate length, which requires a chain tool.

Since you specifically requested a chain lock, this additional item would have resulted in a small surcharge of €3.95.

I'm sincerely sorry that the broken chain caused you an unpleasant situation and that we were unable to assist you with a chain tool on-site. Our workshop uses only professional tools, especially when it comes to chain tools. Due to poor past experiences, we unfortunately do not rent out these high-quality tools. However, we do provide small tools for simple repairs to our customers free of charge.

We would have been happy to shorten your chain directly for a small service fee – unfortunately, due to your sudden departure, we were no longer able to offer this service.

We have kept the chain rivet pin you lost when you left the shop – you can pick it up from us at any time.

If you would like, we would be happy to discuss the situation in person again at some point. I am always open to objective feedback and constructive criticism.

I wish you continued safe and trouble-free travel!

Best regards,
Robert Rehwald
Zweirad-Woj GmbH

After my bicycle saddle was stolen, I tried to find a new one at this bike shop. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They took plenty of time to ensure the new saddle was a perfect fit for my bike. Their friendly and professional advice made the purchase a pleasant experience. I am very happy with the service and the replacement saddle I received. Thank you!

I bought my new bike here yesterday because not only do I live nearby, but the service is excellent. Even though I arrived just before closing time, they still attached a luggage rack and locking nut to the bike. I think that's really good and deserves a special mention.

I've been getting flat tires all the time since last month and tried everything watched every video on the internet and couldn't figure out what was happening with my bike. Today I stopped by at this store for the first time and Daniel helped me find and fix the problem with my bike while being super friendly and at a fair price. This shop rocks!
