Very friendly and accommodating. The shop in Wachau is easily accessible even without a car, although you might have to get a little creative when transporting larger items.

We'd love to go there again. We drove 250 km specifically for a consultation, and the consultation was simply fantastic. We'd go back anytime and are happy with our new kayak.

I bought a Vajda Mission X2 single kayak from Mr. Herold and was very satisfied with the selection, the advice, and the price. And I'm still very happy with the boat. It's exactly what I was looking for: light yet stable, very fast, and easy to steer.

Boathouse Wachau and Mr. Herold stand for first-class advice and high-quality products. I've visited his shop several times and always found what I was looking for, whether it was boating accessories, paddles, or a boat itself. Everything can be found in his shop, which initially appears quite small. Even renting a boat from Mr. Herold was no problem. Therefore, a full 5 stars for the best advice and quality in the sale of boats and boating accessories!

I'm constantly amazed by what Mr. Herold conjures up from his showroom and other rooms; he always has everything in stock, suitable and of good to excellent quality. I've already bought two boats, two paddles, and lots of accessories. Expert advice is his top priority, not just selling off so-called "sets." When I spent months trying to test-drive a specific boat all over central Germany, he was the only one who could get it (and would have been stuck with it if I hadn't bought it after the test drive). My dealer of choice in Leipzig.
