Absolutely professional in both consultation and workmanship. Very friendly and accommodating. Excellent reliability. Fair price-performance ratio. Oh, and one more thing... Everyone, men and women, is treated equally well. The atmosphere was very pleasant; everything was great. Plus: Parking available.

Thank you so much for the flowers.

My old bike was creaking, making noises, and wasn't in good shape anymore. I called to see if a repair was possible. I then took the bike there and was able to pick it up the next day. Everything was taken care of, and the price was fair. Afterward, my bike rode like new again :-)
Owner's response
Thank you. I'm glad to hear that.

Top-notch bike service, highly recommended! We had both our bikes repaired and serviced by Ron. The pick-up and delivery service was excellent, the subsequent repair and inspection were quick, carried out with high-quality materials, and everything was communicated regularly, so there were no unpleasant surprises when it came to the bill. Very personal, genuine, and service-oriented – from now on, our bike shop of choice! Our bikes are running perfectly again, and it's a real pleasure to ride!

I wouldn't recommend it for women. At first, we were happy with the repair, if not with the price, until something broke again three times in a row right after the repair. Example: After changing the tire and tube, about 300 meters on a straight stretch, the tire spun off the bike and you crashed, hospital, etc. New rear light installed, broke after a few days........ No insight from him. So, never go there again. By the way, that doesn't happen with a male customer.
Owner's response
I'd say this is fake news!

For one thing, nobody was here to complain about anything like that... and why would a new tire come off the rim? ...and why would a new taillight break after a few days??? Think about it!

...and there's absolutely no discrimination against women/men or non-binary people here!

We spontaneously took two bikes to "Pirates" on Friday because we were having trouble replacing the front light on the child's bike. While we were still "explaining," Ron got to work and finished before I finished. The bigger problem was the second bike that was no longer roadworthy: because of the lights, chain, and brakes. I was able to pick it up the very next morning. The bill was explained, and the prices were absolutely fair. And they were friendly too!!! We'd love to come back to his witch's cottage, as our child called it :)
Owner's response
hahaha, thank you very much

Absolutely fantastic! We spontaneously requested a service appointment for three bikes (touring, mountain bike, gravel) at "Pirate." "Yes, you can bring them right in!" Wow! We were incredibly lucky to hit the right time slot, and we now have three bikes that have been properly repaired. Very professional, very competent, very friendly – see you again soon!

I brought my bike here to Pi-Rad for service. After a short inspection I was informed that the chain had to be replaced otherwise the bike would be fine. After a month of using my daughter's bike irregularly for school trips (3 km route), it clacked again. I made another service appointment where I learned that the condition of the bike had deteriorated so much during this time that many more parts needed to be replaced. In response to my objection that this should have been established during the first inspection, I was essentially dismissed from the workshop with the recommendation that I look for another bicycle dealer. In my opinion, good customer service should also want to/be able to deal with customer complaints. There's obviously no need for it here.

Strangely enough, 99% of my customers are very satisfied with what we do here.... find the flaw.

My bike was repaired within the agreed timeframe without any issues. The advice was excellent and fair. The components chosen were also selected in a way that saved the customer money, rather than simply replacing an entire part. They still repair things properly instead of just replacing them, which I think is fantastic. The price was also very reasonable. I would definitely use them again!
Owner's response
Oh wow, thank you for the kind review!

Very friendly, spontaneously helpful, highly competent, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. I can highly recommend them. Currently, due to the pandemic, it's understandable to call ahead, but that's perfectly fine. I had two flat tires and my chain was too loose; everything was fixed in a good 30 minutes – a truly fantastic experience! Thank you so much! I hope they get plenty of customers; I'll gladly come back if my bike needs any repairs. Best of luck!
