An unfriendly mechanic told me I had to leave my bike there even though the repair would only take a minute. He said if I didn't leave it, I could go somewhere else. This was not the initial agreement we made on the phone.

The unfriendly mechanic was annoyed that Dr. Beck knew everything better, and since he had several other jobs to do (see Sunshine), he had offered to do it in the afternoon... but he probably wasn't fast enough for a repair that would have taken about a quarter of an hour.

I now take all our bikes to this workshop and they help me immediately; often I can even chat while waiting for my bike. And the prices are very fair.

Fantastic! I called briefly in the morning and was able to bring my bike in immediately, even though the brake lever was broken. When I asked about the stiff gears (derailleur gears), they quickly checked the chain as soon as I took it in. It'll need replacing soon, but it'll last a while. They didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary – very professional! I was able to pick up my bike again at 4 pm that same day, and it wasn't even expensive. Where else can you find service like that, especially in the summer during peak cycling season?! Five stars plus! The small shop is a bit hidden away. It's only a 15-minute walk from the Halstenbek S-Bahn station.

I have spent a couple of nights at their Bed & Breakfast in the past. The location is very beautiful, in nature and the people are nice. They have a bike shop and a team, it's easy to find a good conversation with these people.

Great service and in case of flat tire on your bicycle there's a vending machine for tubes on the outside.
