First of all, I have to say that André's work (I think that's the name of the guy who takes care of the better bikes) is absolutely top-notch. Another shop had made a huge mess out of a slight wobble in the rear wheel; the wobble wasn't just worse than before, the rim was completely misaligned, the spoke tension was all messed up, and several nipples were completely ruined. André fixed all of that perfectly, and the bike is running smoothly again. However, there are unfortunately one big but and two small ones. First, the small ones: 1. It's almost impossible to reach anyone by phone if you have questions about the repair status, etc.; you have to go there in person. 2. The repair can definitely take a while, as you can read in many other reviews. However, since the end result is excellent, I would gladly go back again. 3. The biggest but: I took the entire bike with me to demonstrate just how catastrophic the condition of the rim was, and you wouldn't think it was just a minor wobble or something similar. The employee saw this too and was shocked that another shop was doing such work. After looking at everything, he quoted me €25. I couldn't complain and left my bike there. Two weeks later, I got a call saying the bike was ready and the repair would cost me over €70. That surprised me a bit. After all, the DT Swiss P1850 only costs €85 at Rose. I was told what needed to be done, and considering that, the price is quite fair and justified. (Adjusting the radial and lateral runout, replacing the spoke nipples, truing the rim, etc.) However, I would expect the employee at the repair reception to be able to accurately assess the scope of the repair and give an approximate price, give or take a few euros. And if something unexpected came up, I would expect to be called to discuss the next steps. In the end, we were able to agree on a fair price, which seems very reasonable to me. Therefore, here's a tip: Discuss in detail beforehand what needs to be done, what it will cost, and specifically ask to be called if it might end up being expensive. I will definitely go back to Bike Service Nord; the quality of their work outweighs the inconveniences I experienced during this visit.

Very professional bike repair service. When a mistake is made (which can happen to the best of places) then they do everything possible to rectify it. Very good service. Thank you very much

I requested an inspection appointment for my e-bike, and the response was: January 2nd, 2024! No joke, of course, the problem of staff shortages seems to be the same here, but more than four months? That's not what I call service. The second star is for the friendly employee who tried to sell me this appointment – I can't help it, after all.

The guys and girls are super cool and friendly. I brought my bike here for an inspection. It only costs about €76. For that, you get a roadworthy bike with no issues. The job took a few weeks, which I don't blame them for in the slightest. They desperately need good staff here – it's that simple. Their order books are full. My bike is in good hands here!

I visited Ahmet for the second time to have the chain replaced and the gears adjusted. When replacing the chain, he not only replaced the chain but also cleaned the entire drivetrain. The gear issue was a broken cable. Both problems were resolved perfectly. Two days later I rode a recreational bike tour, and everything ran like clockwork – wonderful!

The gears on my racing bike work perfectly again after cleaning and adjustment, and it looks brand new. The work was completed quickly and at a reasonable price. A very good workshop, highly recommended.

Just picked up my bike which needed to have the crankset replaced as the metal sleeve which holds the pedal cracked away from the carbon crank. Also had some bearings in the BB30 bottom bracket replaced and brakes bled and serviced. I had the free hub cleaned and re-greased as it wasn't touched in years and the bike was ridden in less than desirable conditions as my winter bike. Ahmet knows his stuff and as I was too lazy (and cheap) to buy the necessary tools for the bottom bracket and bleeding brakes and replacing brake fluid is a mess. I decided to let someone else more competent than I take care of it. I usually do all other stuff myself but certain tools (like for bottom brackets) are just not worth buying as you so rarely use them. Anyway, I was happy with Ahmet's service as he came so highly recommended to me by friends from Ahrensburg whom I regularly ride with. A bunch of reviews here are also from folks whom I know from cycling. You can trust this guy and can feel comfortable putting your expensive baby in his hands. Happy riding.

I'm thrilled!!! Yesterday I went to Ahmet for the first time to drop off my road bike for repairs. While we were discussing what needed to be done and Ahmet explained how it worked, he suddenly started putting what he had discussed into practice. I was able to take my bike back home immediately. Wonderful! Kudos to Ahmet, he's personable and competent. Excellent, I felt he gave me very good advice!

I went to Ahmet's today for a bike fitting. I had no idea I was so wrong with my settings. Ahmet is truly competent, honest, and helpful. You can tell he knows a lot about the subject, which inspires confidence. I'd be happy to come back. Highly recommended.
