I'm writing this for your information! This isn't a review in the true sense of the word. The shop no longer exists. A letter from the property management has recently been hanging on the door. "Important notice! As of September 28, 2023, we, on behalf of the owner of the commercial space (bicycle shop formerly Bikestyle & More), are authorized to hand over bicycles/items to former customers upon presentation of proof of ownership. Please contact us by phone ........." I'm not publishing contact information here. Anyone who might be affected should refer to the letter.

The shop hasn't been a bicycle shop for two years. The person who last accepted bikes only rented the premises and pretended to be running the business. He has since disappeared, and the remaining bikes are being seized by the authorities. The court is handling the embezzlement case. This information is from March 2, 2023; I spoke with the police on site. Several people are affected and waiting for their bikes. A letter demanding the return of your bicycle, along with proof of drop-off and, if still available, the receipt for the bike, should be included. Send the letter to the Siemers Foundation (the landlord of the premises) by mail, setting a deadline. The letter should actually be addressed to the person who accepted the bike, but according to the police, they can no longer be located. If the Siemers Foundation is not yet authorized to release the bikes, a court will decide when they can be returned to their owners.

Small bike shop, very friendly staff, but unfortunately, you often find yourself standing in front of locked doors. There's also a very limited selection of bike locks, and when I was there, they didn't even have a bike pump for sale, which I found very disappointing. However, they inflated my tires for free in no time at all. Thumbs up for that! Three stars from me for my trusted bike shop.

A small shop that looks average to well-equipped from the outside and, according to the price list in the window, offers fair prices. However, the opening hours posted online and on the shop door are incorrect. The shop is closed during the stated opening hours, and no one answers the phone. Local residents came by and said, "He comes whenever he wants; last week he was only there for one day." Without reliable information, it's unfortunately useless as a resource for anything related to cycling. What a shame!

Well, it used to be good, but things have changed since then. Since last year, he seems to be a bit overwhelmed. I've found myself standing in front of a locked door several times, trying in vain to pick up my bike from the repair shop – the last time, it took me a whopping four attempts. Then not only was the repair not completed, but the little he was supposed to do was also of poor quality, so I had to take my bike back to another workshop – extra costs, extra time. And while he always writes down the customer's phone number, he's unable to call to let them know that the repair is delayed or that he's having to close unexpectedly. So you're running yourself ragged in vain. He's adjusted his prices to match those of the big repair shops, but the value for money is completely out of his depth. Never again.

UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, OPENING HOURS DON'T MATTER. I waited outside the door today from 10:50 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., and nothing happened, even though it was supposed to be open from 10 a.m. I just wanted to pick up my bike, which I'd been promised. Other customers were also waiting outside the shop with me. So much for supporting smaller shops in the area. NEVER AGAIN, I can only advise against it.

I've already arrived twice to find the door locked, even though it was supposed to be. The bike wasn't ready, despite what had been promised. I couldn't reach him by phone, neither on the landline nor on the listed mobile number. Yes, he might be friendly and easy to deal with, but waiting outside for half an hour or more without success doesn't help. It's a shame; you're happy to support small businesses, but then things should actually run smoothly…

I found the price and service to be fair and very good; my only minor criticism is that they only accept cash. If you need your bicycle repaired, this is the place to go. The number of repair jobs they handle on-site speaks for itself and the quality of the work. I'll gladly come back.

The shop is really strange. There are only old, used bicycles parked out front, looking like junk. Inside, there are no bicycles, only customer bikes that are there for repair. You can see into the workshop (a small room) from the shop, and I think it looks very neglected. The staff or owner—I have no idea who or what they are—are friendly but seem a bit helpless! All in all, I wouldn't recommend it. My bike had the same problem again after the repair (did they even do a test ride?). Not recommended; go to a reputable bike shop instead.
