I spontaneously popped into the shop just before closing time because the e-motor of my Bullitt cargo bike wasn't working reliably after being stored for a while and moving house. There were obviously communication problems between the bike and the computer, which is why the motor wasn't working. Even though the bike wasn't from there, the shop gave me very thorough and incredibly competent advice. Based on my layman's description of the problem, they showed me two possible ways to fix it myself, one of which worked immediately after I tried it at home. Thanks to the free advice and instructions, I was able to get my bike working again quickly, and it's been running perfectly ever since. I think the next service will be at this shop. 🤗 Thank you so much! 🍀

I bought my Velo de Ville Loady from e Motion in Blankenese and I'm completely satisfied. Henning, in particular, is a real gem. He clearly puts a lot of love into his work, takes his time, listens, and gives honest and expert advice. You can tell immediately that he's not just focused on a quick sale, but on making sure the bike is a perfect fit. From the test ride to the final adjustments to my Loady, everything went smoothly and without any hassle. I felt well taken care of the entire time. A pleasant atmosphere, expert advice, and high-quality bikes. I picked up my new e-bike a few days ago, which was customized exactly to my specifications. After purchasing a Velo de Ville e-bike with a Rohloff hub gear and carbon belt drive in May 2025, I have now completed my first longer tour from Hamburg to Frankfurt. Good bike paths, gravel tracks, steep climbs, and challenging descents were all tackled with approximately 15 kg of luggage. Headwinds, rain, and sunshine didn't faze the very well-made bike. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and fun experience to ride this bike through the North German Plain and the Hessian uplands. At this point, I would particularly like to commend the excellent advice and support, as well as the friendly and competent assistance provided by Mr. Hinnerk at the E-Motion shop in Blankenese. J. We went to the e-motion shop in Blankenese today to buy bicycles. A man was sitting at his computer and just said hello. Five minutes later, he was still at the computer and hadn't shown any signs of needing to leave, so we left.

I visited three e-bike dealers in Hamburg (each with the same selection) and I have to say that Henning and Frank from E-Motion Blankenese are by far the friendliest and most welcoming. They take plenty of time for consultations and, on top of that, have the best coffee ;). And if I ever have any problems with my bike, they're both helpful and accommodating. Thank you!

A great little shop with a super friendly team. Excellent advice, provided with plenty of time and attention, without any pressure to buy. (Thanks, Henning!) I would definitely buy my bikes here again. A highly recommended shop. The bike I bought was superbly assembled (better than bikes of the same brand from other dealers). It seems they take more time here and don't skimp on materials to deliver higher quality work.
