Super nice people, great atmosphere, awesome music while I waited. I got a flat tire and found the guys right on the corner. They gave me a warm welcome and I was able to change my tire right away. The place is simply fantastic. Highly recommended! 😁

Absolutely top-notch service!!! Two spokes broke on my wheelchair wheel, so I urgently needed help as I'm leaving for vacation in two days and, of course, I rely on my wheelchair. I called briefly, went there the same day, and they immediately installed new spokes and tightened the other loose ones – all for a more than fair price!!!!

I've now ordered my second e-bike here and am very satisfied both times. Friendly advice and better service are rare, if not nonexistent, in Hamburg these days. I highly recommend them. Happy holidays to the whole team!

While trying to pump air into my front tire, I let all the air out because I didn't know anything about valves. After an "emergency visit" to Fahrrad Hertel, some expert advice, and the right adapter, my bike tire looked like new again 20 minutes later. I'm so grateful that shops like this still exist.

Sometimes the best things are right under your nose! 😊 I was actually planning to order a bike online, but I had my doubts about whether it was the right choice. The shop is on my daily commute, so I stopped in recently – and I'm so glad I did! 😊 There's simply nothing like expert advice and a test ride. These days, it's hard to find shops like this with such highly trained staff! I feel really well taken care of here and can only recommend that anyone looking for a bike stop by. 😊 Many thanks to the team at Fahrrad Hertel!

Sorry ☹️ but that was terrible 👎 I was visiting the area and thought, "A specialist shop, I'll just pop in, it's only a small thing." I needed a quick-release skewer for my saddle, and I had my old one with me for size comparison. I gave the old one to the saleswoman, she came back, went to the till, and it cost €12.95. My fault, I didn't pay attention, but it was too small. Unfortunately, I live on the other side of Hamburg, so I won't be going back there. As I only noticed when I got home, even the bolt doesn't fit properly. Really disappointing 👎

Service refused! The service department refused to screw in a single screw to attach the rear fender. Their reason: concerns about warranty issues with e-bikes from a discount store! With that kind of arrogance, Hertel won't be selling any brand-name bikes either!

Dear Mr. Boeck,<br><br>During your visit, we explained the reasons for our decision not to repair vehicles from non-specialist dealerships. These reasons are the recurring problems and poor quality associated with discount vehicles, the inability to source original spare parts for these vehicles, and, last but not least, our desire to guarantee our own and other specialist dealer customers a reasonably prompt repair service. This decision was not easy for us, but we had to take this step a few years ago. We cannot understand why a sound business decision made by a company should now be considered arrogant, and we do not wish to let this interpretation stand.

I always repair everything on my bike myself! It's great that there are still shops like this where I can get all the parts I need. 😀 They even have a tire vending machine! 🤣

Really friendly and professional, nice location. The only star missing is because of the waiting list. You must wait at least two weeks. They have a lot of work, and this is good, but maybe they must hire more people. Another bad thing is that they don't rent bikes anymore.

Hello, thank you very much for the stars :-) Since we already have seven people (often four mechanics in the workshop) and we all want to get paid even in the winter (when there's less to do), we unfortunately can't hire any more people. Especially since we have very limited space in the workshop, and especially in the yard, to store and work on the bikes :-) We know that we're often at our limit. If no bikes are picked up, e.g., during the holidays, it's almost impossible for us to accept any more vehicles because we don't have enough space. This is very frustrating for us, too, because we like to work efficiently and serve our customers as quickly as possible. We'll stay on the ball and are always open to new ideas :-)
