Highly recommended. We received very thorough and honest advice. The consultant immediately recognized where our daughter was having difficulties and was able to select the perfect bike for her. He involved our daughter in the conversation, asked for her opinion, and made her feel like it was her decision, too. We can wholeheartedly recommend this store. The store also excelled in its selection of accessories. In the end, even Mom left the store with a smile because she found a great jacket.

In November, I bought an e-bike from Kalkhof that doesn't track straight. I discovered this by riding it hands-free. I know you're not supposed to, but it's the only way to test it. The first explanation was: it's probably because the motor is on the right. Apparently, that's how it's supposed to be. The second explanation was: we don't sell stunt bikes. Ms. Mulka was the only one who confirmed this to me. Tests with seven identical bikes proved that my bike is out of the ordinary. The suggestion to keep your hands on the handlebars is completely unhelpful. The workshop manager at another branch confirmed my observation. The managing director sees no need to rectify the defect, even though identical bikes in the branch ride perfectly straight. That's not what I call customer-friendly.

I can highly recommend BOC in Pinneberg. We've now bought our second bike here, and certainly not our last. Mo's advice was especially excellent every time (I've been there three times in total). I wanted to buy my wife a Cube e-bike for her birthday, which I had seen online. However, it wouldn't have met her requirements at all. We then went through many bikes together to finally find the perfect e-bike for her. Mo consistently asked her the right questions to help us with our search. We never felt pressured. Mo was always friendly, respectful, genuine, and knowledgeable. I will only buy my future bikes from Mo instead of buying them cheaper online. He really knows his stuff, and the slightly higher price is definitely worth it. The BOC team is truly grateful to have such a great employee! Thank you, Mo!

Hey, today we had a problem with a stripped thread in the crank arm. Thanks to the excellent service at BOC, the thread was repaired immediately with a Helicoil insert. Very disappointing: My e-bike rear wheel has been at B.O.C. Pinneberg for repair since August 1st. The repair has now dragged on for eight weeks, and promised callbacks never happened. Two newly spoked rims were both scratched, and the original rim was disposed of without my consent, as it was supposedly beyond repair (one spoke had broken due to my own fault). For a bike in this price range, I expect significantly better service and careful workmanship. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. Update October 2nd, 2025: Unfortunately, the defect still couldn't be fixed. However, I received a new (but scratched) rear wheel back, and we reached a financial agreement. After almost nine weeks…

Worst customer service!!! We bought two e-bikes last year for over €8,000. Unfortunately! During the sales meeting, we were told that we'd receive an email after a year reminding us to have them serviced. No luck! Then we visited in May and wanted to make an appointment. No luck! "If you want a service, only at the Hamburg branch!" Are you serious? I bought my bikes in Pinneberg! The fenders on both bikes are so poorly mounted that something keeps coming loose or breaking off after a short time. The only thing that deserves a star is the quick repair (max. 10 minutes if something needs to be fixed quickly).

Always a pleasure, never disappointed. I've bought two bikes there in three years, and whether it was for an inspection, a quick question, advice on clothing, or showing me simple fixes for supposed problems that turned out to be nothing... everything was done with plenty of time for the customer, no rush, no smirking, no pressure. Of all the bike shops I've been to in the last 12 years (including one that charged a €25 "emergency service surcharge" during regular business hours...), I've finally found my transparent, fair, and happy place. I took my old GIANT (BeLIV City) here after it was squashed from my move from Australia. Not only were the staff extra nice ( and tolerant of my terrible German skills ) but actually fitted my bike properly, measured me up and adjusted everything so I am actually comfortable riding it for the first time in 4 years. The Service staff are amazing and the price was more than reasonable. I will definitely be back for servicing and accessorizing in future. Thankyou B.O.C Pinneberg!!
