I bought a new bicycle from allée-rad about 10 months ago. Unfortunately, the rear brake froze constantly during the first winter. When I inquired about it, I was told that this was "normal" for this type of bicycle and that they no longer sell them. However, they also refused to replace the brake cables free of charge, even though the bike was less than a year old. I was simply told to wait until the temperatures warmed up. I was truly disappointed that there was absolutely no goodwill or compromise offered. Addendum: I'd like to respond again to your reply, Patrick. When I was at your store this afternoon, it was -1 degree Celsius – which I don't consider "extreme" temperatures. I find it odd that the brake freezing constantly at these temperatures is described as a "quirk" rather than a "defect." Furthermore, it's quite common for a store to offer a discount when purchasing a bicycle. This discount was listed on all bicycles of this type, so it wasn't specifically for me. I also find it problematic to portray this discount as a gesture of goodwill when complaining about the bicycle after the fact. Addendum: I'd like to reply again to your previous complaint about the bicycle. Thank you for your kind feedback.

The brake cables freezing in cold weather is a known, but temporary, characteristic of this model and not a defect: once the temperatures rise again, the problem resolves itself.<br><br>Nevertheless, I offered to replace the brake cables for a fee – as a service, not as a gesture of goodwill. I wanted to take my bike in for repairs. The gentleman skillfully tried to convince me of everything that needed to be repaired. You won't find thorough analysis or honesty here. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this shop.

I was so relieved that they are able to change my rear PVY ebike with fat tyre tube, with motor attached. Patrick was so helpful and it was done so quickly and he even checked my rear brake and sorted it out. I recommend this place 💯

Highly recommended! I bought an Intec Steiger F11 here and am absolutely satisfied. I was able to test ride the entire range without any problems, which gave me plenty of opportunity to compare prices and features. I'm absolutely happy with my choice and received excellent advice during the ordering process. My desired color was also perfectly implemented. The extremely friendly staff seems knowledgeable and genuinely interested in bikes!

Really good experience at really cheap price! I needed to fix a wheel one day and they couldn’t do it, even after spending time, they didn’t charge me anything. And the next time I came and they changed the free rolling of it, and everything is perfect!
