Unfortunately, I cannot give a positive review of my experience with Ampler. I ordered a bike in November 2025. After placing the order, I received no feedback for two weeks. Only after inquiring was I given a delivery date of January 2026. However, this date was not met without further explanation. After inquiring again, I was informed that the delivery would be postponed until March. As the situation became too uncertain for me, I canceled the order and requested a refund. Since then, however, I have been waiting for my money for over two months. My inquiries with customer service have so far only yielded vague answers, but no concrete solution or payment. What is particularly problematic for me is that both communication and the refund process are taking so long. I am now having to consider taking legal action to reclaim my money. Based on this experience, I would personally advise against ordering from Ampler and recommend thoroughly researching current customer reviews beforehand.

I can only warn everyone against ordering anything from this company. You constantly receive "friendly" emails, but that's about it. The promised delivery of a bicycle was delayed for over six months. After we finally canceled the order—due to the repeated failure to meet promised delivery dates—we are now waiting in vain for a refund. One can only speculate about the reasons for this disaster; either the company is now simply insolvent, there are massive organizational problems, or it's even fraud. We decided on such a bicycle based on initially positive experiences within our family, unfortunately a costly mistake. But even the bicycle we already own—the one that prompted us to buy it in the first place—is now showing significant signs of deterioration, and the initial excitement is no longer as great as it once was. It's important to remember that the bicycle cannot be repaired at a regular bike shop but has to be sent to Estonia. And this applies to every single defect. Ultimately, I can only advise anyone affected to file a police report immediately.

I can confirm the positive impressions described here regarding the crew and the bike. Only one thing mars the experience: the service. It's impossible to reach the local crew by phone. With a lot of patience, you end up at some distant central office. The staff there politely confirm that the Berlin branch cannot be reached by phone. So I tried email. I received an automated reply stating that I would receive an answer within 36 hours at the latest. Since no other bike shop repairs Ampler Bikes, you're dependent on the only Berlin workshop on Yorckstraße. I live in southeast Berlin. A one-hour drive there and back is normal. It's too much of a hassle for me just to ask a question or have a screw adjusted. I'll be selling the bike again. I'm writing this review on behalf of a friend who bought an Ampler Bike but doesn't have internet access. Therefore, he can't use the app either, which is another disadvantage.

During our Berlin vacation, I really wanted to stop by Ampler Bikes, as I'd heard so many good things about their bikes. I'm from Vienna and would love to buy an Ampler bike. I received very friendly, unobtrusive, and competent advice right away. Then not only I, but also the kids, were allowed to take a test ride. It was really cool! In the end, I wasn't pressured to buy anything; instead, they showed me how I could easily order from home in Vienna. Excellent advice, excellent bikes, and excellent friendliness!

Very friendly staff in the Berlin showroom and beautiful bikes worth the price. We use our Stout and Curt almost every day throughout the whole year for inner city rides and had no major problems so far. Customer service via email reacts fast.

Ampler sells bikes of ridiculously low quality (everything fails within three years) and offers terrible costumer service. Their strategy is to tire you with needless requests (you shall do their job of investigating, but they'll never accept your investigation results) while also not helping at all.

Good day, Bálint Zoltán, thank you for your feedback. As explained in the first case two years ago with the same problems you have right now, the reason was and is maybe now caused too due to too little maintenance as you live in a region with a high concentration of salt water. When the bike is regularly cleaned with fresh water, you can prevent the corroding of most parts of your bike. <br>In summary, all work outside the warranty is paid for by the customer.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Probably the best bike I have ever had, especially the attention to detail by staff about the bikes and your mobility needs. I use my stout every day to go to work and it has been nothing but a great experience. Special thanks to Long, who is attentive and focused on giving you the best advice possible.

Great Store ! test rides for free in a nice area of the city the employees were more than friendly. I will definitely buy an Ampler !
