Visited Bike Market City in late September to buy a bike lock. Right after completing payment – below 10 seconds – I noticed another model that suited my needs better. I immediately asked if I could switch, but they refused to refund or exchange, insisting I buy both instead. Now I’m left with a 140-euro lock I don’t use. This experience left a very negative impression – it’s hard to recommend a store that won’t accommodate a simple request like this. I was so chocked that I didn’t argue too much and i paid for the other one…Worth to note that the salesperson was sympathetic but it’s totally unprofessional and close to be a theft. It what I am feeling today, abused.

Very helpful bike shop. All the employees spoke in English and were helpful. I even called the store and the employee working there spoke in English. I had to get my punctured tire's tube replaced. Oliver did that for me in 15 mins even though they were very close to the closing time. He also suggested me what other things needs check-up and/or replacement. Really happy with their service. The price was moderate. Didn't mind pay €27.5 for the tube, replacement, and services there. Recommend this place.

They helped us a lot, especially the man who helped us to communicate in English is a competent person who is Karim Not everyone speaks English, but if you come across that man, he will explain you everything he can, with cause and effect. We were very pleased.

They didn't want just to sell a bike and get rid of a confused customer! They took the time which is rare in Berlin, and helped me very well to select a good bike which fits my needs. I had to wait two weeks for their suggested bike, that was absolutely worth. Put your ID card and take the bike to wherever you want, enjoy it and take it!

The guys are cool and fair. Repairs are done well and in time and without overcharging. Tip: If you just need a part and know what you want, just walk through the passage to the right and through the courtyard to the back entrance and talk to the service personnel; you'll be done in no time.

These guys are pretty good, and their customer service is better than at most shops around the city. They seem to be handling the COVID-uptick pretty well. But it also seems like some of them don't really know what they're doing with their high-end bikes-- they over-tightened the pedals and set the limits way off on mine. I hope they're just training new staff and it's a fluke, because I want to like them.

American living in Berlin. I have visited the store multiple times and every guy I have meet has been very accommodating. I have purchased multiple items and I have stopped back to have them help me mount on my bike. I have a tune-up scheduled in a few weeks to see how mechanics are. Purchases to date: Bike tube, Orlieb Office Back, Abus Bordo 6500. Great bike shop and accommodating to English speakers

I went to several bike shops in Berlin, practically begging to spend 1000+ EUR of my money on a new mountain bike, and the service in most places ranged from disinterested to abysmal (in one shop, I even pointed to a model on the wall asking to see it, and the clerk told me it was not the right bike for me and went on to pick up some boxes in the back of the shop and bring them out to the trash bin!). Anyway, that changed when I went to Bike Market City on Uhlandstr. (Jul 2018). I received a thorough consultation based on my requirements, and was able to test ride a few bikes. The salesperson even gave me a generous discount at the checkout. I also brought my other city bike in for servicing and repair, and I got it back like new, for a very reasonable cost. On top of all of this, the people working there are enthusiastic cyclists, who are very competent and service-oriented (and they also have a sense of humor). This is a welcome relief from the usual condescending attitude one gets in most bike shops (or business for that matter) in Berlin. I've been to dozens, and now I'll only ever bring my bike here for servicing, and if I need a new bike, I'll be buying it here as well. Thank you Bike Market City!

A helpful place. I was able to buy a helmet within my tight budget, and one time they were able to pick out the right inner tube for my bike even though I did not have it with me (since it had a flat tire). As far as helmets go, they stock the full price range - from 40 Euro helmets to 300 Euro air-bag helmet things.
