I found this shop by chance. I came in to solve some doubts regarding my bike that was not working well and the two times I have been there I have been treated very well. Always with a smile on their face they have given me all kinds of clear and concise explanations, from which I have been able to appreciate their great knowledge in relation to the world of bikes, very professional. They have also helped me by making adjustments to the functioning of the bike so that it now runs much better. I don't speak German but they have helped me in English without any problem. From now on they are my reference shop for bikes in Berlin and I can recommend them 100%.

I recently had the pleasure of using a bike service where I was in urgent need of changing my bike tire. The experience at this service was exceptional, and I wanted to share my positive review. Upon arriving at the bike service, I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. I explained my situation, and without hesitation, he offered to lend me the necessary tools to change my tire. Not only did the staff member lend me the tools, but he also took the time to guide me through the process of changing the tire. The bike service itself was well-organized and had a wide selection of tools and equipment available for use. The workspace was clean, and all the necessary supplies were easily accessible. The staff member was attentive and ready to assist whenever I had a question or needed further guidance. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the bike service and the assistance I received. The staff member went above and beyond by lending me tools and providing expert advice, which made the tire-changing process much smoother and more enjoyable. I highly recommend this bike service to anyone in need of quality assistance and a friendly atmosphere. Their exceptional customer service and willingness to go the extra mile truly set them apart.

After a year in P-Berg I am consistently impressed with the service and staff here at this store. Patrick has repaired and serviced 4 of my bikes (my family's obviously) and has always been conscientious and clear about what needed to be done and the cost. I do not speak German and I am grateful that the store accommodate for people like me. I cannot recommend highly enough.

They tried to sell me a 250 euro tyre saying that they didn´t have anything cheaper and that I wouldn´t find it elsewhere either. When I made them look up for a cheaper one they admitted there was a 40 euro one that would do ok. That is not even the cheaper on the market that would do ok. Trying to get the client to buy something very expensive when they explicitly declared that they didn´t want to spend much on it is a scam. Plus they made a offensive comment about me not being German , as asking if I did understand numbers... very unpleasant.

Owner's response

Sorry there is complete misunderstanding. We don't have any tyre for 250€. In January we repaired your bike with a tyre for 21,95. Better tyres are up to 45,90. Not everyone in our shop speakes perfect english.

Fantastic service, communication and support! Patrik along with everyone else I interacted with was fantastic. I needed to pack my bike for a flight and they went above and beyond to help me. Plus everyone I interacted with (4 people) spoke English perfected. Many many thanks Absolutely not your average bike shop.

If I bring my old bike for repair I expect an honest reply. I understand you don't want to change a chain because is not profitable for you, but don't tell me I have to spend 150€ to change the cassette. It's a lie. Either a ripoff or incompetence, but anyway, a lie. In Germany i met this Attitude so often: if you didn't buy it here, you can go somewhere else for repairs. Very unfriendly... Fortunately Berlin is still different, apparently not so much in your shop.

Owner's response

What is the reason for this?

They probably asked about a repair at our workshop because the chain was broken. We apparently suggested a complete drivetrain replacement, which involves replacing the chain, sprocket, and chainrings. With severe wear, this is the only technically feasible option. That's not a lie. And you didn't accept the offer.

I had a decent experience with a derailleur install. But now I had an equally middling experience with fenders for rain. I purchased them even with little experience installing such things and took a careful time today to put them on at home. After I simply brought the bike to the shop for a small minute asking if the shopkeeper could look and maybe make final adjustments. From behind the counter I got a “oh looks great good job” and I was hoping for at least a 1 minute let me walk around the counter and see. Nope. I left on my bike and 5 min later the fender is stopping the rear tire. So the chance to make me a happy customer was lost by not thinking that I came in there for a reason.

Went in with a back flat expecting to have it fixed for me, but with the encouragement and help of one of the employees, I was able to change the tube myself. Price was as expected (just under 8 euro), but with install it would have been over 20. Patrick at the shop was super helpful and walked me through parts of the process right outside, even though this is not typically how they function. Super grateful! Thanks Patrick!
