I dropped my bike off at Bikechecker for repairs – we had agreed on work on the chain and the light. When I picked up the bike, I was suddenly charged an additional €40 for cleaning and removing the gum from the gear shifters. This service was neither mentioned nor discussed with me beforehand. As a student, I don't have €40 to spare for something I didn't request. Unfortunately, the employee showed no understanding whatsoever. Transparent communication is essential for good service – please inform me and consult with me before any additional work is carried out next time.

Am schlechsten, AVOID THIS PLACE I brought my bike since the back wheel was flat. I am sure 110% the front one was ok; when I came back also the front one was flat and he said both had to be changed. I said that I would have think about it, and I did by myself When I checked the front wheel THE HOLE WAS ON THE SIDE, so obviously the guy pierced it and wanted to scam me. DO NOT GO IN THIS PLACE

The greediest bike mechanic in berlin, he charged me 45 euro for repairing a flat tire and I repaired it for 45 euro, after 5 hours the same tire was again puncture and he charged me 40 euro again for repairing it. He took 85 euro from me for repairing a punctured tire in 1 day. If your not from germany and u cannot speak German, please don't go there he will charge you more . Bro if i have 50 euro I can buy 2 new branded 26 inch tyres and 2 new tubes. That was not only the time I came there , I came there several times before, every single time you charged more money,. When I came there first time for fixing a lock that I buyed from online for 20 euro and increasing the handle bar height , u take 35 euro from me for fixing that,. The second time when I came there ,because there was some sound coming from my ebike, u just wrap it with some tape and u take 20 euro from me for just wrapping it with a tape , u didn't do anything there i was watching u and still the sound is there ,no difference . The money your charging is double from all other shops.

Hi Edwin, why didn't you mention that it's an e-bike and that I showed you exactly where the hole was in the inner tube? I was even kind enough to do the repair on the same day without an appointment and without an express surcharge. I even reduced the price for the second repair as a courtesy. Typical delivery drivers, everything has to be quick and preferably free.

It’s a good store, I was there several times already and bought there a bike. I was allowed to do a small tour around the block to check it. They spoke English, were patient with many questions I had. The prices are ok, probably cheaper would be to buy on line but you cannot really check the bike. I think it’s better to support such small shops in our neighborhood.

Quick, friendly repair of my jogging stroller. I stopped in with no appointment on a Wednesday morning after I noticed my jogging stroller had some odd vibrations. The fellow quickly identified the problem and adjusted the front wheel for a minimal charge. Problem solved. I would recommend to anyone for efficient bike (or related equipment) repair.
