Nice bike service shop with friendly staff. The wheel came off my bike and I came into the shop and they fixed it for free.

Very rude service. I speak German not that good and I need time to explain things. The woman didn't listen to me at all, and started speaking herself very loud, like shouting, before I can explain anything.

I needed a front brake cable replaced and was told this could be done and to come back later that day. Returned to find a poorly fitted cable, and surprise that I was not satisfied with the fact that it did not fit properly or even function to pull the break. They gave me excuses that the bike was rusty and needed other parts replacing. I found the team a bit condescending and rude. But at least I could walk away not paying for the poor service. They removed their work and I went my way to find somewhere else.

Rude. Wanted to get my bike tires changed, greeted them respectfully but received a very bad attitude by two men. I walked out immediately because I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. (I suppose this shop is not friendly to foreigners, as of others comments mention).

Avoid this place! Seriously. I brought my bike here to get new parts fitted. They installed old broken old parts that they had cleaned up to look like new (chain rings, etc), and when I doubted the guy - he became aggressive and shouted at me telling me that they were new parts. I was on a long distance cycle, and I had to leave town that day, only to discover that my bike was worse than when I gave it to them to repair. The chain rings were so broken and screwed up that they would barely push the chain! The chain just slipped and crunched. So I had to go to another shop and pay the same amount again to replace them with actual new parts.

Super nice guys fixing everything quickly and very well. They don't do hydraulic disc brakes but apart from that - awesome!

Avoid at all costs! I took my bike in to get the tire fixed and when I went to pick it up he told me my rear cog needed replacing. In Australia we don't have these kinds of internal rear gearing systems or at least they aren't common enough for me to have come across them. Two things didn't sit right with me when he told me I needed a new rear cog: 1) It had functioned perfectly fine previously, and 2) The problem was with the internal gears (left had gear switch) and I didn't think that had anything to do with the part he showed me. He told me I would need to buy a new one and it would cost me 60 euros. I then said I would find the part elsewhere for cheaper and he said that I would have to buy the chain with it or else it wouldn't fit. I found this also very strange so I went to another shop close by and they showed me how these foreign (to me) rear gearing systems can be adjusted. It became very clear that this man had tried to rip me off by simply adjusting the cable to a point where there was no gear engaged. They even tried to sell me another bike while I was there. Really really terrible. Oh and the other thing. when I went there months previously to get them to fix a flat tire, they fixed it and then after a few weeks the tire was flat again. I took it back and he said there could be a piece of glass in the tire and that he could fix it for 18 euros but that I would also need a new tire. I have previously fixed my own tires and my experience with slow leaks is that I might have to find the thorn and pull it from the tire.. not replace the tire with a 40 euro one (The cost of the tire he told me I would "need" here in Berlin otherwise it will happen again). Save yourself the bullshit and go to the guys on Brussellerstraße, they were friendly, reasonably priced and won't try and rip you off.
