Timestamp 01.07.22 O&H: Everything was great, a super friendly guy who explained and demonstrated everything upon request. You feel very comfortable, even if you're not very familiar with the scene... Thanks a lot for the great board, is it okay if I lick the wooden deck once...? 😜👍

Had a fantastic experience visiting today. The owner helped me out with my surfskateboard, gave lots of tips on how to take care of my board, I even got a tip on my technique. I’ll definitely be back when I’ll need to buy something. Thanks a lot, I wish all shops were like that! ✌🏻

Rented a board and also bought a new one! The owner is very capable and friendly. He also fixed my board after it got damaged under a car. Will definitely go there again when I need new equipment or other repairs. Professional consulting, best quality and reliable service are the reasons why you should buy local!

This shop is fantastic! The selection is great. The staff provides comprehensive and thorough advice. They really take their time to assemble the perfect board for you. I can highly recommend it! :-)

Hey Franky, Thanks so much for the lovely afternoon! Thanks to the great advice, I found my dream board. The owner really seems to know his stuff and takes the time to explain things to you. My colleague and I spent a total of three hours with you. It was a really great day and a lot of fun. I can definitely recommend the shop. It's not about making tons of money here, but about making us (the customers) happy. Now we can head to the Baltic Sea this summer with the board!!! Very nice salesperson! After a customer's very positive recommendation, my friend and I decided on Funky Summer. We called and made an appointment for 6 pm. We received a super friendly welcome and excellent advice from the very beginning. The customer is clearly the priority here, not profit. Since we're beginners in this area, everything was explained to us in detail and with expertise, allowing us to form our own ideas. The really nice salesperson also gave us great tips on improving our technique and learning new ones. In the end, we found some really cool boards that were perfectly suited to us. We learned a lot during the three-hour consultation and will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy a longboard. Great advice, a friendly salesperson, and really good prices. Felix

I had a blast with you all, and it's great that you trusted me to advise you – after all, you're going to the Baltic Sea with your boards, and nothing can go wrong!<br><br>I rarely spend three hours advising someone, showing them techniques for paddling, pumping, and foot changes when kicking... But since you were able to put it all into practice right away, it was pure fun, not work at all!<br><br>I'd love to do it again... See you soon, and have a great trip to the Baltic Sea!

Can only highly recommend this place! The owner is very genuine and explained everything thoroughly to us. We tried a bunch of boards and are very happy with our choice in the end:)

Great old school skate shop with a plethora of beautiful boards hanging akin to works of art on the walls. Because indeed they are. In fact although a skate shop it has a bit of a museum vibe to the shop floor as you could spens a few hours just taking in the history and dynamic engineering that can go into skateboard construction. Onto the service. Fabulous. There is a certain fraternity for old school skaters that persists at this location. I was welcomed as a friend, time was made for me even though it was closing and the conversation was flowing. Thanks Frank for all the help and the tutorial and ride on your Dandan.
