Fantastic shop, fair prices, very knowledgeable staff, they've helped me out so often, even spontaneously. Sometimes they even offered same-day pickup. And bike shops are usually a male-dominated field, but the owner here is super nice and not at all macho or anything. I can highly recommend this shop! :)

About six months ago, I bought a basket and a new light there for €50 (I have the receipt). Today, they refused to repair my bike and suggested I just buy a new one. The reason given for the refusal, regarding the bike's value, was the same reason I applied to my last purchase six months ago (the bike isn't 10 years old, by the way, but from October 2021 – I have the receipt). Therefore, I don't trust the shop much and feel a bit cheated. But at least I saved myself the cost of a repair, and the shop saved themselves a potential new customer.

Dear Verena, I'm so sorry I had to be the bearer of bad news. You came into the shop today asking me to repair your brakes. No problem, I'm happy to do it, provided certain minimum requirements are met. Your bike, which is about ten years old and quite worn, and cost around €200 new, has plastic brake levers that bend easily when used and are prone to breaking. If I repair your brakes, I'm liable for them, so I'm not going to let you ride with brake levers that could break. Replacing your brake pads, including the rear cable and the brake levers, would cost about €70. That far exceeds the value of your bike, so I refused the repair, explaining that it wouldn't make sense to invest money in a bike that's practically worthless. You then told me you couldn't afford to buy a bike for €800, and I replied that we have used bikes starting at €100. To be perfectly honest, I've been extremely honest and fair with you. Feel free to try another bike shop with your bike; reputable colleagues will give you the same advice.

Lars has helped me out of a jam several times now. Most recently, he installed a new hose for me in just twelve minutes (I timed it!). And he did it at a great price, too. That's why I give him full marks for service and price.

I had my bike inspected again yesterday and everything was great. I was able to drop off my road bike at short notice and even pick it up again the same day. The staff was very friendly and pointed out some parts that will need replacing soon. They also gave me tips on how best to care for the parts. I've been to this shop four or five times in total and have always been very satisfied.

Very friendly owner! After a quick phone call, I was able to bring my bike in right away, and within an hour, my front tire was flat again. Only €15 for a new tube and a lightning-fast repair—it almost hurts me to pay so little. I will definitely recommend this great service and would be happy to come back myself if my bike lets me down again.
