I was at the JD store in the Gropius Passagen on February 23rd and, frankly, I'm shocked by the way customers were treated. I simply wanted to try on four or five items of clothing. However, I was denied access to the fitting rooms. When I asked why, the initial response was simply "operational reasons." Only after asking several times did the sales assistant say that the manager had supposedly forbidden trying on clothes because of theft. As a long-time customer of this store, I've never experienced anything like this. I was treated as if I were a potential thief or criminal—just because I wanted to try on clothes. This is completely absurd for a clothing store and extremely disrespectful to customers. Shopping under such circumstances is pointless. If customers aren't even allowed to try on clothes, there's really no point in going into the store at all. Very disappointing, and definitely the last time I'll visit this store.

I wanted to exchange a Nike Tech Fleece jacket because it was too big. I wore it for two hours, and now he wouldn't take it back. There were stains on the jacket before, which I mentioned when I bought it, but he said there was nothing they could do. And today he told me that since there were already stains, they couldn't take it back. I also wanted to buy shoes, but they only had two sizes for five different pairs! Don't go there; it's not the best JD store. Go somewhere else!

The staff was unhelpful with my refund request, because the shoes were not purchased in this store, but online. The online customer service told me that I can go to ANY(!) JD Sports branch and they should help me with my claim - yet they declided assistance. edit: the online store corrected themselves and said that I can't bring the shoes to ANY JD Sports - even though they told me that the first time, so it's not the fault of the shop. - Yet the staff was slightly condescending, so.. there's that.
