He gave me truly expert advice, was very friendly, and offered me a much lower price for the repair/overhaul than the previous bike shop I'd asked about. He was genuinely not interested in profit, but in expert and honest service ("Your brakes are good and in good condition, you don't need to order new ones"), after the previous bike shop tried to convince me that the same brakes were poor quality, worn out, and urgently needed to be replaced (for about 150 euros) (even though they worked perfectly!!!). He checked all the fasteners, oiled the joints and chain, tested the bike's safety features, and only wanted 50 euros for it (not 200 euros (plus the brakes) like the previous shop). I'm very glad I visited the bike shop on Markelstrasse. I'd go back anytime.

It's always a bit of a gamble with insider tips – if I write about it here, everyone will be there in no time. But I'm doing it anyway in this case because Ahmet simply deserves it: friendly, competent, fast, and at a perfectly fair price, he got my son's bike working again in just one day. I can wholeheartedly recommend Markel bike shop! But don't tell anyone… ;-)

Very friendly service and a thorough, quick, and affordable repair of my bike. The shop is very unassuming from the outside (the doorbell is clearly visible). I highly recommend it.

Very competent and fast service! My bike, which I had almost given up on due to numerous defects, looks like new again and rides almost flawlessly. I'm very satisfied and can recommend the workshop to anyone!

Getting a short-notice appointment at a bike shop is almost impossible these days. Not here. I called, and they said I could come in right away (on a Saturday!). An hour later, I was able to pick up the bike, and at a fair price. What more could you want? A real insider tip.

Super fast, extremely customer-friendly, and flexible service. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back! Update: After a minor accident three weeks after a complete overhaul, they very quickly and professionally got our bike back in working order at a great price. We'll gladly come back again!

Excellent service! Very professional, friendly, and honest. Prices and services are communicated directly and transparently, everything is done as agreed, and surprisingly quickly. I dropped off the bike on Friday afternoon and was able to pick it up on Monday! No unnecessary extras or hidden costs – a rarity in Berlin these days. I'll definitely be back! Thank you so much!

This was the second time I'd come in under time pressure for a repair (the first time I had to leave again an hour later). I received immediate, friendly, and professional help. Today, they also helped me right away with a stolen saddle and post, searching until they found the right parts.

At other bike shops, you'd wait a month for an appointment for the inspection; here, they do it the same day—and I was able to pick up the bike the very next day. Competent, friendly, and the prices are totally reasonable. I'll be happy to come back from here.
