I bought a new bike. They showed great interest.

Do not support this business. I've come by several times to buy accessories and the staff were always friendly. However, recently I came in to ask for a specific service appointment (I did not have the bike with me), (gear) tune-up, they elaborately informed me that it is impossible to make an appointment for a bike they have not seen so I should please bring in the bike first so they can take a look. Came back with my bike and they have no openings and now claim they do not work on bikes that have not been purchased at the store. Thank you for wasting my time I won't be back.

Great service and very helpful staff. I recently went there to pickup some lights and bell for my sons bike and I mentioned the brakes on my bike were having issues (newer bike). They brought my bike in for a quick check and fixed it right on the spot and now they work great, and for very reasonable price. I will continue to go here for parts and service.

Nice people and very good service! We rent bikes here for about 8 years now and it's always good.

FABULOUS SERVICE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Very competent, knowledgeable, friendly and fast customer service. I had my bike repaired at a couple of other bike (repair) shops in Berlin, but RTS Radhaus Steglitz is by far THE best bike (repair) shop in Berlin. I got my seven years old bike back today from maintenance and it drives like new! Good to know: before they return the bike, they do a quick check for other problems. A bliss!

I left my bike to have a general service after 2 years not doing anything and doing a few tours. They have a very good costumer service friendly and knowledgeable, I took my bike home like it was new! Thank you! I will be back!

This place is a complete ripoff. Service costs for something as basic as gear and brake cable adjustment costs €65 upwards. Annoying upsell pitch. Price comparisons of the bikes and equipment shows a significant markup. Shameless price gouging.

Owner's response

Dear Customer,
it was not a adjustment, it was a complete change of your cables and housings with the complete adjustment of derailleur front and rear.
And your bike was total worn and in very bad condition.
If this money (for Parts and work) is to much for you, probably next time you will be better served at decathlon where you bought your bike.

with best regards.

Friendly and competent service at a good price. This is where I go first with any bicycle need. I've had several repairs done on my family's bicycles here and I always get good service, and they always check for any other obvious problems to make sure the bike will be in good shape.

Assumed what needs do be done rather than asking, only communicates cost estimate upon request, promises to call if estimate is exceeded significantly. Estimate is exceeded by more than 100 euro, but didn't call. Work promised is not done (missing fender). Asks for extra payment to do the work. Plus a flat tire on the way home, I can only assume it is related to their work. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. I know I'm not taking my bike back there for the tire.

Owner's response

Dear Mr. Robin Raymond,
we can not find your name in our database. Every customer who had got a repair and/or had bought a bike in this store is listed in our customer database. If it was a repair on-the-fly you would had got a bill. In case you've got a bill we suggest you to call us or walk by and we will solve the problem.

Best regards RTS Radhaus Steglitz.

My favorite bike shop! There's also an English speaking employee (seems like he'll still be there for at least a while). They're always super helpful and always tried to give me exactly what I needed. They never tried to sell anything unnecessary. They even did a couple things for free and only charged for the parts.. I really don't understand people who say this place is overpriced! Of course good quality parts and labor don't come for free, but they really try to do only what you need and will also ask whether you want everything done. They are also very transparent about prices. Last time my repair (I expected it to be expensive, but they said they'd try to clean it and get it working again) became more extensive than they had hoped, they gave me a call and said it will cost so and so much and whether I still want the work done anyway. Finally it costed a bit less than they said. So far I never had to pay more than they said it would cost. Everyone is very friendly. The boss is kind of "German" (Not meant as an insult! Just doesn't appear to be super friendly to some people from more "peachy" cultures), he actually seems to be a really nice guy.
