Unfriendly and rude customer service! If you are looking for something bike related go to another store!

Really friendly people and took good care of an issue with my Orbea saddle screws. Great service!

I came for my first inspection, which I was told I could have after six months. Once I dropped my bike, I wasn’t told about any charges for the inspection neither on the website nor did the person who took the bike mentioned anything (even though he said it was fine to get my first inspection) I just picked up my bike and was told I was to pay 120 euros for the inspection, which is a fair price but no one ever mentioned I had to pay this when I scheduled the appointment or took the bike to the shop. It’s really tacky to make me pay for this without disclosing prices neither on the site nor when I took my bike for the first time. I paid more than 4000 euros for this bike and I feel like this could have been have been handled in a better way than “Pecht gehabt/ sorry your loss” - I would expect way better service and transparency from a shop selling bikes at this price range.

Owner's response

Hello D Q,

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you weren't entirely satisfied with our service.

We'd like to point out that the first inspection after purchase is free if it's carried out within 3 months or 300 km. Unfortunately, your deadline was exceeded by 3 months, which is why a charge applies. This is clearly communicated with every bicycle purchase.

We'd also like to point out that a preliminary cleaning was necessary because the bicycle was very dirty. This additional service was also communicated to you when you received the bicycle.

Our inspection fee is €89, plus the cost of the preliminary cleaning, resulting in a total of €120.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to welcome you back as a satisfied customer in the future. We wish you continued enjoyable riding with your new gravel bike.

Best regards

The staff here is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I dropped my bike off for maintenance and it came back shiny and practically new. Drop off and pick up was easy and Corona-safe. I really appreciate expert-level shops like this that take care of their customers and have a passion for their craft.

Owner's response

Dear Matthew,
thank you very much for the postive feedback.

What an amazing service! I called them to see whether they could help me send my suspension fork to SR Suntour for servicing; of a bike that I didn't even buy there. Daniel, who took my call, was super friendly. In stark contrast to the seller and SR Suntour Service, he didn't immediately jump to conclusions but rather invited me over to take a look. On-site, he checked the fork, adjusted the rebound correctly (it wasn't possible before anymore) and filled it from 60 PSI up to 100 PSI, to reduce the dive it was delivered with originally. One of the best experiences I ever had in a bike shop and thus I can highly recommend them.

Owner's response

Hi Marius,

Thank you so much for your positive review.

See you next time. :)

We went in to ask for a maintenance check for one of our bikes. They were booked for weeks, so that was impossible, but the gentleman who welcomed us was very kind, did a fast check of the main things, and explained lots of useful information to us in preparation for our bike trip. He was very generous with his time and knowledge. Thank you! (I couldn't speak German so it was very helpful to have my German-speaking wife next to me.)
