Perfect experience. Very friendly staff, had all the conversations in English. The person who repaired my bike also came to explain some of the repairs when I collected my bike. I was not expecting this level of transparency and professionalism. They have a great system where they send you updates over a chat with photos, detailed price breakdown with cost of labor and parts written separately. Overall 10/10. I would recommend to everyone and thanks folks!

I dropped my bike off at the workshop for a 'spokes-as-new' service, which included checking the shift and brake cables. Two weeks later, the shift cable broke. I didn’t expect that kind of poor quality check.

If I could rate Spoks at Prenslauer Allee, Berlin more than 5 stars I would. Carefully under-promised in terms of time to repair, excellently over-delivered in speedy response. In Australia, I’d stripped my road bike down to fit it into the bike bag and labeled the 3 wires into the STI unit before I disconnected them. When I re-assembled the bike in Berlin I couldn’t make the gear change work. Riding my bike as a single speed to Budapest would be way too hard. I googled “best bike shops in Berlin” and chose Spoks because they did repairs plus they were close. Second part of excellence: the manager explained that a special Shimano tool is required to reconnect the cables into the STI unit “you can get it on line”. Then from out of the workshop came the mechanic with the tool and a smile that said “here, I happened to have a spare”. If you need bike repairs in Berlin, especially for Shimano anything, don’t go anywhere else than Spoks Rob Reid Smith, Victoria, Australia

Very convenient online booking tool, they ordered and exchanged a broken fork of my canyon bike within days. Great service, especially with taking care of communication to Canyon. Afterward I’ve received a comprehensive overview of all the costs and detailed documentation of the replaced parts

Bike repair the way it should be: efficient, affordable, and honest. Extra star for the friendly service! You book yourself a slot (goodbye to awkward “come back tomorrow” shenanigans), they will keep you informed via automated messages, and have your bike ready. They are specialized in repairs, so their incentive is to keep you happy and returning. We have already brought all the family bikes, some of them twice, and we can’t be happier. They seem to be quite able at both conventional and electric bikes.

Absolutely impressed with the bike cleaning service at Spoks! They transformed my filthy cargo bike into what looks like a brand new ride. The attention to detail was outstanding - they didn't just spray it down, but properly degreased the chain, cleaned between the cassette cogs, and even got into those hard-to-reach spots around the pedals and bottom bracket. My bike wasn't just clean, but they also pointed out that my chain needed lubrication and took care of that too. The service was completed in just a few hours, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of work. My gears are shifting smoother than ever, and the frame is gleaming. Friendly staff and expert service - will definitely be coming back.

Super staff and service :) Very customer-focused experience; really great to see the Bikebook service being used for booking an appointment / progress tracking / staff chat functionalities. Finally someone is making great use of available technologies for fahrrad werkstatt services to give customers impression of being looked after. Keep up the great work, Spoks team! I will definitely be back and will recommend the place to everyone.
